10,000 years ago, before there were element holders, when Mother Nature was at her peak, she had a brother, Perses. Perses was the God of Destruction. He was made to destroy, to kill. Mother Nature was there to keep him from killing. But, he didn't think it was fair, his only ability was to kill, to use the elements against those who would smile because they were happy, and his own sister wanted to rip him away from that. So, Perses did what he could, he fought his sister, he used all the power he could muster and destroyed anything and anyone in his path. Perses wanted power, and that's how he thought he would get it. Mother Nature banished him for what he had done and his soul broke from his body to reside to the one who controls the Fire Element. Of course, no one knew that. They believed that he was gone. Little did they know... Perses was near, closer than they thought. And only one person has enough power to stop him. The one who holds his power.

"Louis!" Liam yelled when he saw his younger friend. "We heard what happened." He grabbed the boy and hugged him tightly. Every night the boys would meet in the metal cage to talk about their days, their worries, their feelings. Ever since Harry became the leader, they all had a hard time adjusting and got very stressed and felt a heavy weight on their shoulders, knowing they had to take over for their creator. Louis came to Harry with the idea to have times at night to talk about how they were feeling, Harry smiled and told him it was a great idea. So, there they were.
"We're so proud of you, dude." Zayn shared as he sat with his legs crossed on the floor in the middle of the room. The elementals were playing a game of tag and Louis' little friend Winnie saw Louis, flying over to say hello to the boy. Louis smiled and scratched under his chin before the creature flew away. "Thanks. I really couldn't have done it if Harry hadn't been there though." Louis said, sitting next to Zayn in the circle. "You give me too much credit, Lou. That was all you." Harry smiled, sitting across from him. "How was everything today? I know that the heat may have put the earth at a small shift, I only hope that it didn't last too long and things were fine." Harry changed the subject. "Niall and I gave parts of the planet cloud cover to protect from over heating, nothing seemed to be affected too much." Liam spoke. Niall nodded in agreement. "Good." Harry sighed in relief. "How is everyone feeling?" He asked the group. "Well.. it's the 201 year anniversary since Mary passed. But, I think I'm okay." Liam spoke. Zayn pat his knee in comfort and smiled at the brown eyed boy. "I'm glad you're not taking it too hard, though." Harry's smile was filled with sympathy. "Thanks." Liam smiled, looked down at the blank ground. "I had an entire bucket of pizza today! I can't get enough of that stuff." Niall broke in, the group laughed.

The next day Louis and Niall practiced in the metal cage. Louis was working on keeping heat at a safe level, after yesterday he knew it was needed. Niall was there to put out any fire and to keep the boy calm. Niall and Louis had always been close, they were the younger element holders and Niall always helped Louis with controlling his power. Louis seemed to have a harder time than any of the others when it came to keeping control, the boys all thought it was because he didn't have enough time with Mother Nature as the others, but Harry knew differently.
"Keep your breathing stable, you're heart races when you breathe so hard. Take a deep breath and focus." Niall instructed. Louis nodded and took a deep breath in, holding it before letting it out. He put his hands out and closed his eyes, focusing on his breathing and the heat of the small fire ball. The flaming ball slowly went out and Niall cheered. "You did it!" He yelled out, jumping up and grabbing Louis. Louis laughed and smiled brightly, he had put out the fire and it had only taken him 5 minutes. Zayn walked into the cage, a doughnut in hand when he saw Niall jumping for joy. "What happened?" He asked, mouth stuffed with his last bite of his sugary treat. "Louis put the fire out all on his own!" Niall stopped jumping and looked to Zayn. "What! Louis that's amazing!" He smiled, taking another bite from the doughnut. Louis smiled "thanks, but I think I need to do it quicker. It took me five minutes when it should take me five seconds." Louis groaned. "You need to give yourself more recognition, Lou. This isn't easy stuff and you've been moving along quickly with all of it. We're all so proud of you." Zayn spoke with a smile. "I'm still going to try again." Louis said, a small flame setting in his hand, only growing bigger before he shaped it into a ball and set it on the podium. "Good, 'cause I want to see this." Zayn spoke. Zayn sat on the bench nearest to them and Niall walked over and sat next to him. "Let's see if you can do it without me instructing you this time." Niall said. Louis nodded and took a deep breath, putting his hands out. He breathed out and focused in on the power that flowed through his body. His entire body felt like a flow of electricity was going through his blood. He felt good, his entire body felt like it was on fire and then it hurt. He yelled and jumped back, opening his eyes to see the ball of fire had spun out of control. All he could see was the fire he had created, he looked at his hands in terror. "LOUIS!" He heard Niall hell before he saw a large spout of water attempt to put the fire out. "LOUIS YOU NEED TO FIX THIS" Zayn yelled, doing everything he could to put the fire out. The room was hot, he felt a line of sweat on his upper lip. He was frozen though, he was terrified of what he had done. He was shaken out of his trance when he noticed the fire had been put out and Niall put his hands on his small shoulders. "Louis!" He yelled in his face. Louis took a step back. Looking around the room he saw Liam and Harry had joined them. The boys had crowded Louis and all Louis did was look around frantically before looked down at the ground, shakily pulling his hands up. "I'm a monster."
He fell to his knees. "Louis!" Niall yelled, trying to catch the boy as he fell. Everyone stepped forward to help the boy... except Harry. Harry stepped back. "Don't touch him." His voice broke out through the group. "Harry, somethings wrong with him!" Niall held the boy in his arms as Louis shook with tears. "I know." Harry spoke sadly. "WELL THEN HELP HIM." Zayn yelled in his face. "YOU'RE SO GOD DAMN SELFISH, YOU'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO HIM. HE FEELS LIKE HE NEEDS TO BE EQUAL TO US BECAUSE YOU MAKE HIM FEEL THAT WAY!" Zayn yelled in his face. "HE'S NOT EQUAL, ZAYN. HE'S ABOVE US." Harry yelled back. Time seemed to have slowed down. "What?!" Zayn yelled, confused. "He's more powerful than all of us combined. That's why he's having such a hard time getting his powers in his control. I- I can't tell you why.. not yet. It scares me." Harry stepped back.
"W-want am I?" Louis' voice cracked as he spoke. Harry faced him. "The God of Destruction."
