Chapter Eighteen

A few months have passed and everything has been better.

I've been training for my Alpha position and I'm graduating to full Alpha tonight.

Chris has a whole ceremony set up.

I get dressed for the ceremony while everyone else helps Chris set up.

Felix decided to help Chris.

When I finish getting dressed Chris calls for me.

I walk downstairs and he grabs my hand.

"You look beautiful y/n."

"Thank you Chris."

He leads me outside to the garden.

There is an altar and a Shaman waiting on us.

We approach the alter and the Shaman begins speaking.

"We are here to unite two Alpha bloodlines as one. This union will make every power that each of them possess becomes powers they now share. Felix I see your eyes getting big over there. This is not a marriage do not worry. This is a union of power. As long as no one has any complaints about this union we will proceed."

Everyone stays quiet.

"Good. Chris will you please grab the ceremonial knife and cut your palm."

Chris grabs the knife and presses it into his palm.

Blood drips down his hand.

"Y/n please grab your ceremonial knife and cut your palm."

I grab my knife and cut my palm as instructed.

"Good. Now both of you join hands."

We place our hands together.

"Repeat in unison after me. I promise to work as a team with my other alpha."

Both of our eyes flash deep red and it feels as if electricity shoots through my body.

"The union is complete. You may now separate."

We pull our hands away from each other and smile.

"How does it feel to be a full Alpha now y/n?" Chris asks.

"Amazing."

We walk away from the altar.

Felix walks up to me.

"Congratulations alpha."

"Thank you."

Chris walks up to us.

"There is one more thing planned for tonight."

"What is it?"

Felix smiles.

Chris walks over to Hyunjin and Jisung and they run towards the alter.

They start lowering a white sheet.

"Felix what's going on?"

"You'll see."

He grabs my hand and pulls me to the side.

Chris walks beside us and starts a projector.

It starts loading on the sheet.

I look around confused.

Suddenly a video starts playing.

Felix grabs my hand as pictures of us come across the screen.

I smile at all the memories that are being shown to me.

Felix squeezes my hand.

The pictures end and a song begins playing.

"May I have this dance?" Felix asks as he reaches out his hand.

"Of course."

I take his hand and we start dancing.

I lay my head against his chest and his arms wrap around my waist.

"Thank you for everything. The slideshow was beautiful."

"I just want to make you smile."

"You do."

"I want to make you smile everyday for the rest of your life."

"What do you mean?"

He lifts my chin so we are looking into each other's eyes.

"Y/n I want to m-"

Suddenly the music stops and we hear howling in the distance.

"Felix what was that?"

"Intruders."

He pulls me behind him.

Chris walks up to us.

"Everyone turn now!"

We all turn to wolf form and stand behind Chris.

He starts running towards the barrier and we follow.

When we get there part of the barrier is broken.

A pack is standing inside the barrier waiting to attack.

Chris stops far enough back where they cant see us.

"Alright boys we have to defend our barriers. Make these intruders leave at all costs."

We rush in and the pack rushes towards us.

We all start fighting.

I grab the first wolf that comes towards me by the neck and I sling him to the side.

I try to keep my eyes on Felix but I get side swiped.

Another female wolf bites me causing me to howl.

I fight her off of me and start looking for Felix again.

Chris is slinging members from the pack left and right.

Suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my side.

Felix?!

I keep looking for Felix but I don't see him.

There are only a few wolves left standing and Chris charges after them.

They run out of the barrier and into the woods.

I look down and see Felix laying on the ground.

I rush towards him.

Felix!!!!
