Chapter 12

12: happily ever after

Deepika was in the hospital. Ranveer was outside the wad. Impatiently waiting for their baby. A few hours later the nurse came out. "Mr Singh, You may enter now," Ranveer ran inside. The first thing he was thinking about was his wife. He went to Deepika and knelt on the floor.

"Baby, are you ok?" he asked. Then he kissed her forehead. "I am fine, just very sore," she said. He kissed her lips. That's when he got up and saw their baby. She was beautiful. She looked exactly like Deepika. Ranveer carried her in his arms and went to Deepika. He knelt down once again and let her carry her.

"She's beautiful" Deepika said. They kissed their daughter.

A few years later

"Harshaali!" Deepika shouted. "Coming mama!" Harshaali shouted. Ranveer chuckled at the eagerness of his two most favourite girls. When he entered the room, Deepika was doing Harshaali's hair. "Ladies, I hope you are ready. Our princess's birthday party is almost starting," Ranveer said.

Soon, they went to the hall where the birthday party was held for their princess. Harshaali went and started playing with her friends while Deepika talked to Alia and Ranbir. Ranveer did the same. Then, the cake cutting session came.

Deepika decided to go home early since she was not in the mood of partying. After a few hours, Ranveer came home with Harshaali. Harshaali took a shower and went to bed. Ranveer kissed his daughter good night and went to his wife. Deepika was already sleeping.

He layed down beside her. Deepika sensed him beside her and snuggled closer to him. He hugged her and kissed her lips softly which made her wake up. "Your back?" she said. He nodded. "Now sleep, tomorrow is going to be your birthday!" Deepika said.

Ranveer chuckled. He considered himself to have his daughter's birthday one day before his. He was happy and he loved his family.
