The Date

I woke up around 1 pm the next day. I guess I was really tired. I check my phone and Clay had called me, "Hey Irisa... I was wondering if maybe... You wanted to go on a date? Like to the fair. Yea well call me when you get this, love you." I screamed, "Omg this is gonna be my first date ever!" I texted him, 'Yea sure that sounds great!' I jumped in the shower, did my hair, got dressed, I threw on some light colored shorts with my pink Disney shirt, did my make up and I was ready to go. I went and got Kevin some food an when I got back Clay was sitting in his truck waiting for me. I got out told Kevin I was leaving, grabbed my sunglasses, and I got in his truck. "Hey." "Hey, you." "You ready to go?" "Yea." Honestly, we could have walked to the fair, I didn't even have time to turn on my phone, that's how close we were. So we got out and started walking. He reached for my hand. "HEY CLAY!" Darien came screaming at us. "Hey Darien," "Oh are you guys like a thing now?" He asked "Yea and were kinda on a date so you know." Clay said. "Oh sorry, yea totally. I'll leave you guys alone." And with that he left. We walked around for a while and looked at the people passing by. Somethings bring people and some tear us apart. Clay won me a huge husky, stuffed dog by shooting some hoops. When all of a sudden I almost fell to the ground, "IRISA OMG ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!" It was my best friend Ally and her boyfriend. It took me a moment to regain my balance from the impact. "Hey, Ally. What are you doing here!?" "Darien like totally called me and said, 'OMG Irisa is here with her boyfriend!'" She said in a bad impression "So I called Toby and told him to come pick me up and take me to the fair to have a double date. ISN'T THAT LIKE THE GREATEST MOST BEST IDEA EVER?!?!" "Uh... Yea sure." I answered she was my best friend I could hurt her feelings. I looked at Clay and mouthed, 'Sorry.' He flashed a quick smile, "What the heck! The more the married!" "Great!" Ally said. We walked around a little. Clay bought me some cotton candy and we shared it, I got a few weird looks with holding this huge dog and all. "How about we head to the Farris Wheel?" Clay asked. "Yea, sure sounds like a great idea." I said. Me and Clay sat down but I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea. I have a HUGE fear of heights. We got to the top. "What's your favorite color?" He asked me. "Definitely purple! How about you?" "Purple, but not your purple. Mine is when the day meets the night, the purple meets the orange in a sunset." Wow that's romantic and he doesn't even try. "Like this." He pointed at the sky. Wow that is pretty, the pink, purple, orange, and blue all in swirls together. Then I looked down. OH CRAP BAD IDEA!! I started to shake more than usual. Clay noticed and put his arm around me. "Hey it's okay, I've got you. Just look at the sky." That surprisingly calmed me down. Wow he's good at that. We sat there for a while. I reached for his other hand. Finally, we got off and met with Ally again. We were holding hands when we got off. "Aww you guys are SO cute together!!" SMILE!!" All of a sudden a blinding flash came from her phone. "That's a keeper!" We walked off still hand in hand. We played a few more games. "Hey guys I hate to say this but I'm gonna head home." Clay said "Yea I'm gonna hang there my dad will feel a lot better knowing I'm there." I added. "Okay well text me later girl, love ya." We hugged and we went on our way. We went to Clay's house and watched a movie afterword. "HEY GUYS IM HOME, IM GONNA WATCH A MOVIE WITH IRISA UPSTAIRS OKAY YEA!" And with that we shot up the stair. We sat on the futon and turned on Netflix. "What do you want to watch?" He asked me. "Um... Well there is a Chris Evans movie I've been wanting to see. It's called Snow Piercer." He looked it up and there it was. He went down stairs and grabbed some sodas and popcorn and came back upstairs. We started the movie, I have to admit Chris looked really good with his beard and blue eyes. Every time there was a gory part came on I tucked my head into his shoulder. I really don't like blood, it's freaks me out. He did a good job in the movie, he's probably my favorite actor him or Sebby. "Well... Not what I expected." I said. We looked at each other for a moment and laughed. "Well I better get home." "I'll walk you home, if you'd like?" "Yea I'd love that." We walked home hand in hand. "Bye Clay. I had a really fun time." "Yea me too. We should do that again." "Yea." We stood there in awkward silence for a moment just looking at each other then I heard from in side the house, "Irisa is home." "Got to go." I said "Okay bye." He said. I got in the house and fell on my bed and I was out like a light.

The next day was the usual get up, go to work, come home, eat, shower, and go to bed.
