Aurora's POV
No way, who the hell did he think he was holding me like that. What a creep all that stuff about the rejection he can p*ss off. The weirdest sensation ran through me though. On my arms, where he held me. His skin felt strange; almost tingly. I shook my head and continued walking to the office, mumbling like a baby isn't going to achieve anything. Kids littered the hallway along with lockers and classroom doors. I zone out until I reach the heads office. He gives me once over of the school rules along with my locker number and timetable, then sends me on my way. I hear the bell ring and I go straight to math in the swarm of bodies going in various directions. The classroom was relatively small we each had separate wooden desks with a blue chair. The door was at the front of the class on the right, the teachers desk was straight in front of the door with a chalk bored behind it. The floor was wooden like the hallway and the walls were cream but spoilt by work done by kids with little to no future. The American flag hung proudly on the wall at the back of the class and large windows let light highlight the flag. I sat at the back assuming there's no seating plan, I seemed to be right. Sitting by the window I hoped to just watch time pass. This I was hell bent on doing despite the girl sat next to me. Who was using many tricks to try to get me to speak to her, I did find her amusing but a little derivative, and perhaps persistent. With all the where's whom's what's your name, siblings, parents. On and on.
For the next reverting 5 minutes or so I ignored her and then he walked in.
Our eyes locked; I gulped for a second, before I turned to face the teacher putting whatever creepy wackadoodle shit he was doing to the back of my mind. He walked up behind me which I didn't appreciate and then he said "move".
I kept my back turned and continued ignoring both the girl who had thankfully shut up and the weird dude.
"Move" I continued to ignore him.
Quite frankly there were many seats available and I found it childish for him to want mine. "Quiero el asiento, punta" (I want my seat bitch) he said firmly.
I turned "encontrar su propio señor" ( find you own sir). I put emphasis on sir just to piss him off. He scoffed and took the seat in front of me as some other boneless chick moved. The girl next to me set off again "wow you speak Spanish? Can you teach me? Please, why don't you speak?". By now the teacher was yapping on about angles.
I kept myself to myself, until the teacher announced we could start working through the book.
"So why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?" The girl asked inquisitively looking at me straight on. I turned facing her for the first time, I was confronted with big brown eyes, deep brown hair, a tiny button nose, distinguished by a toothy white smile.
"Do you ever give up?" I replied; the effort to ignore her draining every second.
"Nope I'm quite stubborn what's your name new girl?" I smiled and said "Aurora".
