Your Baby

After gym Jemma and I looked at our timetables. Turns out we had history and English together. She's actually really funny. At the end of English we went to lunch together.

I met her other friends; Sophie, a pretty blonde girl with green eyes and another wide smile. Nick gives surfer vibes with his long blonde hair and structured face. He was wearing a light blue t shirt with green shorts on. Colin seemed very 'edgy' with skinny jeans sun glasses, white shirt and black and white vans. Jemma names them and we all said hello etc.  After a moment the mindless chatting began, to which I just stayed silent.

The canteen was big, there was a mixture of table sizes I sat with Jemma and her friends at the back of the hall. Lunch was lasagna. It was SO good and I didn't have to cook it.

After a couple bites I turned and realised Evan had just walked into the hall. I kept my back turned a enjoyed the lasagna, he looked my way with menacing eyes. I looked down and began finishing my food. As he walked past he nocked my water into my food. I gave a heavy sigh and chucked my food away in the bin behind me. I tuned back not leaving my seat and I smiled to Jemma, Nick, Sophie and Colin. "Who's that?" Sophie asked I shrugged not wanting them to know it's my brother. Jemma answered "she's not much of a talker".

The group started muttering about various things, from who's shagging who to homework. I distanced myself and began to think of tonight, Jeremy gave me the number for the fight, which I kept on a burner phone. I couldn't wait to get back in the ring. 

Lunch passed slowly, I spent most of it thinking about the fight. We had science last, I was with Sophie this time. She seemed just a inquisitive as Jemma but perhaps more sceptical, friendly enough though but maybe a little less trusting which isn't always a bad thing. Once science was over I packed my things up said a "bye" to soph and left as quick as I could. I had be back before my brother or I was in for one. It's made a lot harder when you have to get your baby brother and I can't drive.

Ash POV

My mind was going crazy thinking about her and my wolf was being all moody. I needed a good old fashioned run.

I was sat in science and when the bell rang I leapt out my seat and was heading straight out the door. I was in the corridor when my mate walked into me she murmured a "lo siento" (Sorry) and carried on with her speedy walk. She knew it was me without looking up? I decided to follow her as my wolf kept pestering me, driving me insane. I gave my jeep keys, begrudgingly to my sister and walked off.

I followed Aurora's sent, by this point she'd walked at a fast pace and covered 2 miles. Her hair shone in the sunlight as did her tanned complexion, making her unbelievably attractive. Men drawled at the sight of her, that fact enrages me inside but I try not to let it show. At lunch it was the same; guys staring and when I saw that Evan mess up her food I was so mad I could of ripped him limb from limb. I was shocked she didn't answer back, she sure gave me enough lip.

We neared a village on the edge of town, which I was pleased with. To live round here must mean she's safe, secure and in a rich home. I saw her walk up to a large house, it had 6 windows (3 on each level) with green shutters and white panels around the outside. Aurora walked up and nocked on the door which I thought was odd if this was her house. A sweet oldish lady with long blonde hair answered the door she was a human I could smell her form here. However I did recognise her, I think she knows of our kind, we probably met in a meeting but I'm not too sure. She handed Aurora some sort of strap and then; is that a child?! My blood began to boil, she has a child with someone who isn't me! What the fuck. I felt betrayed, my wolf was howling in pain. We are not faithful to our mate but I definitely haven't made anyone pregnant. I watched the shit bag she was carrying as she walked another mile. Maybe she's delivering it somewhere?

She eventually reached a dusty track where my eyebrows raised in suspicion as I hid in the trees surrounding the property. This house wasn't safe or nice in fact it looked like a squat house, no place for a baby or my-- my mate. Her scent was around the house yet faint, probably because she recently moved. There was also two other wolf scents near hers. I was confused at first, was she living alone, my question was answered when two cars came into view. One being Evans, that wolf from school who smokes a lot of weed, and messed up her food. She started swearing under her breath when she saw the cars pull up, one man got out of each car. My wolf and I were confused, why does she live with wolves, was she trust worthy?

I watched her opened the front door after the other guys went in. What I heard next broke my heart. The baby started bawling, and the unknown wolf shouted "shut that baby of yours up!".

Your baby? Her baby? My wolf didn't believe it but I was so mad, more mad than when she beat my sister up.

I shifted and ran away as fast as I could. I rejected her I have no right but that only fuelled my anger.
