I rolled over as I lightly stretched and turned over to look at Malaysia.
"Stop staring at me" She said with her eyes closed.
"I wasn't even looking at cho uglyahh" I said getting up.
"Whatever but since we're suspended think Azjay will let you go to the mall?"
"What's at the mall?" I questioned pulling out clothes.
"McKellan is throwing a kickback on Friday and invited the whole school" She cheesed
"Whoopdie doo" I stated stale faceing her.
"Oh c'mon pwease" She tugged my arm.
"I can't promise anything" I shrugged
"That's why your going to beg" She smiled opening my door.
"Fine" I walked to Azjay's room.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Yeah" she yelled. I opened the door and she had a punching man inside the room.
"You good?" I questioned taking small steps.
"Mhm"
"Well I was wondering can I go to a kickback this Friday?"
"I know i took you in but you don't have to be scared to ask me anything,just stay strapped no matter what" She said punching the man.
"Okay cool" I smiled walking out and walking in my room seeing Malaysia on the phone.
"I'll call you back" She said then hung up.
"Who was that?"
"Taymari"
"For someone who has a girlfriend he sure stays on the phone with you"
"He was just asking if we're going to the kickback"
"Yeah we going"
"Eeeeehhh" she screamed
"Ok let's go mayne"
"Let's goooo" She yelled skipping down the steps and walking to the car.

On our way to the mall Malaysia spoke.
"Jordan um i have a question"
"Wassup"
"The kiss we shared?"
"What about it?"
"I'm still confused on this whole thing it's  like we just be kissing out of nowhere."
I parked the car in the mall parking lot and sighed turning to face her.
"Malaysia I like you ok alot I know your straight or however you define yourself but that's why I didn't want to say anything on the kiss,I might've just made it awkward and shit." I said
"Kissing you can never be awkward" She whispered. I looked at her face and she looked down. I grabbed her chin as I brought her face closer to mines,then I kissed her and the same electric current ran down my spine as we kissed.
She pulled away with a slight smile on her face.
"C'mon" She said then got out the car.
We walked in the mall and saw hella people from school.
"Jordan!!" A female voice said,I turned it was Bri.
"Bri?"
"Wassup haven't heard from you inna min" She said all flirty like.
"Uhh been busy"
"Well hit me up when your not" She walked away.
"Lay I'm sorry" I looked at her as she was smiling.
"Your cute when you all nervous" She giggled.
"I am?"
"Mhmhm"
She the pulled me into foot lockers.
"We should get matching shoes" She said grabbing a pair of white forces.
"Forces?"
"Too plain?"
"Just a lil" I said as i browsed looking at some yellow zm's.
"Yesssirrr" I said as i took it down.
"Excuse me sir can i get these in a 5 1/2 and 9 please."
"What" I asked as she was staring at me.
"You remember my shoe size"
"How can I forget,you got midget feet"
"Listen here you little shit"
"I'm listening" I laughed. She just glared at me and shoved me into someone.
"Oh shit I'm sorry"
"Watch where the fuck you going" the boy said. I took in his attire and he looked like he was apart of some gang,the dark jeans,combat boots,leather jacket.
"Fuck you staring for" He snapped then walked away.
"The Southside Serpents" Malaysia read on the back of his jacket as he walked away. (For all my Riverdale lovers🤪)
"Kinda gang name is that"
"A dangerous one" The footlocker worker said.
"You know of them"
"There one of the most dangerous gang on the southside" He explained
"Can you tell us more" Malaysia urged.
"After they boldly killed Govener Turnfield,they were announced dangers and they practically own the southside"
"But their allowed on the Northside"
"Not really,but every one is terrified of them not even the cops try to stop them"
"Interesting" I said
"Well thank you so much for the shoes and the information"
"Your welcome,but some advice if your trying to cross the Serpents I'd advise you not too" He said then walked away.
"Jordan no"
"C'mon some digging won't hurt,please"
"Fine but no trouble" She pointed at me.

We made it home around 7 and Azjay was nowhere to be found.
"I'll get the snacks" Malaysia said
"Ight" I ran upstairs and grabbed my laptop and my charger meeting Malaysia at the dining table.
"Let's get to work,shall we"
"We shall"

I pulled up seeing the kitchen light on.
"Jordan" I called
"In here"
I walked in the kitchen seeing papers scattered everywhere on the table. Malaysia on the other hand was sleep across Jordans lap.
"What is this" I laughed
"Research"
"On what"
"The Southside Serpents" My eyes grew wide.
"How do you know about them"
"We ran into one at the mall today"
"What did he say" I sat down
"Nothing" She shrugged and continued typing.
"Jordan this is serious"
She looked up and cocked her head.
"How serious?"
"So serious that I don't want you to research anything"
"But I found everything i was looking for"
"And what exactly is that"
"Why are they such a threat to us Northsiders" She smiled as she talked.
"Ok kiddo bedtime"
"But I'm not sleepy"
"Yes you are you had to much,energy drinks,c'mon you can finish this tomorrow."
"Fine" She said then picked Malaysia up bridal style snd carried her upstairs. I pulled out my phone and called Amani"
"Hello"
"Amani I think Jordan is a megamind"
"What are you talking about?"
"The Southside Serpents" I said then heard her gasp.
"What about them?,is Jordan okay?"
"She's fine but she is a genius,she found out everything about them real names,birthdays,parents,everything."
"I'm impressed"  She snickered
"You have no idea" I chuckled
"Well I'll let you go back to sleep"
"Thanks for keeping me updated"
"Of course"
"I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning mind joining me?"
"I'll be there"
"Ok Goodnight Azjay"
"Goodnight A"
She then hung up. I walked around Jordan's research palace and saw something that stood out.
"Andrew Morris a.k.a Serpent,leader of the Serpents,way to go Jordan" I took that information up to my room when Jordan was coming out if her room.
"Gotcha" She said
"Your lame" I laughed then walked in my room.

"Lay,you sleep?" I asked poking her side.
"No" she whispered.
"What do you think Azjay's hiding about the Serpents?"
"I don't know but it seems like she doesn't want us involved almost like she's scared or something"
"You might be on to something Lay" I smacked her forehead.
"You know I hate that shit"
"Sorry mi amor" I whispered watching her blush.
"Whatever I'm going to bed" She turned and laid between my arm and torso.
"Clingy much"
"Yup get use to it"
"Yes mam" I said as i closed my eyes letting the darkness take over my body.
