One full moon night, unbeknownst to all a young maid and her monster lover gathered under their usually spot. Under a tall but old willow tree as the night wind whistled. They chatted to one another their eyes filled with love. However their eyes also showed worry. They both had manged to kept their secret hidden from their own side. Until now that the maid was expecting, rumors started to circulate. The monster assured his lover he had a plan and lead her to the village he had heard about. It was remote and the population didn't even hit the triple digits. A few months later their daughter was born. Avery.

The last time Avery had seen both parents was at age 3. She didn't know what happened or why they left or if they were still alive. Being half monster was the only thing that managed to keep her alive. However every time she would interact with the humans the interaction was always negative. The elderly and young would sometimes be the exception to the rule. Although her village wasn't Heaven on Earth she was glad to have a home to come to every night.

Present Day.

You woke up around noon as usual. You walked outside to check the weather and were happy to see it was a beautiful day. Raining with hail. You put on your raincoat and walked out to start your hike.

The hail didn't even hurt as you were built differently than your human counterparts. As you went on with your hike the further you strayed from the village. You enjoyed the crunch the leaves would make but as the ground got wetter the less you heard them.

Just as you were walking something caused you to slip and tumble a bit down.

"Owwwwww, why?!" You yelled. "Damn it must be because of these wet leaves", you said.

However you right in front of you stuck in the ground was your front door.

You heard your stomach drop to the ground. "This can't be. I must be dreaming. H-how.."

You got up and ran to look in the direction of the village to find smoke hovering above it.

"No-no nononononononono. This can't be happening." You said as you ran back. You couldn't help but let your eyes water. The village wasn't perfect but it was your home and it might not be there when you get back, ever...

You pushed those thoughts back as you kept running.

However only piles of wood were scattered throughout the place. No sign of life, in fact at the center was a huge hole. As you got up closer you noticed something was down there. It looked like a monster, but it also lacked life.

You turned around and looked up and down to see what could have caused this. Through the rain your eyes gathered an image that looked like a bald man with a white cape walking away in the distance.

Could it be one of those heroes you heard so much about. How could they be so careless, your village was destroyed and they walked away without a care in the world?

You got up from the ground that you didn't realize you had been laying on. You straightened your back and thought to yourself. "That's it. I've made my mind if the rumors are true Z-City should be a ghost town that only belongs to monsters."

"I WILL JOIN THE MONSTER ASSOCIATION!" You screamed.

At the Monster Association.

The one eye leader looked down at you and smirked. "Well well, the human who claims to be a monster." He chuckled.

"I'm not lying. Actually well... I wasn't fully honest. I'm half monster half human. But I don't want anything to do with humans, not anymore. I heard you guys were located here and went out of my way to-" I was cut off by the leader.

"Hahaha...pfff HAHAHAHA. First you human say you want to join us and then you say your half monster half human. You're funny you know that? I've never heard of that nor seen it. Also if your gonna lie make it more believable. You don't like like a monster not even if I had my eye closed!"

"Look I know I don't look like it and... I don't get to choose my monster powers you know... but... I can shape-shift." I said.

"Oh really?! Well lets see then." Exclaimed the leader.

"I can only shape-shift into one thing." I said with my head down. Although I tried my best to hid it I was terrified the second I had stepped into the association. I had even begun to doubt if I should have even came here in the first place.

Meow.

The leader and rest of the monsters were roaring with laughter when they realized I could only shape-shift into a tiny kitten. Yep that was the ability my father had passed down.

"Alright settle down. Time for my proposal you oh TERRIFYING~ monster kitty. There's a hero by the name Saitama. In fact he lives in this very city. That hero has caused us more trouble than I would like to admit. Bring. Me. His. Head. Or we'll eat yours. You have a month to complete this task. Okay. Bye. "

"Oh, thanks, okay." I said. I was not okay, and I was too scared to ask what he looked like but I did have a month to figure that out.

I walked out of the association feeling more nervous than ever before.

Saitama's POV.

"Geez, I really hope that village was abandoned."
