Hyo-Rin POV

A short drive later we arrived at his apartment. He told me had two roommates, but they wouldn't mind if I stayed there and he assured me that they were really nice guys. I also finally learned his name, after seeing him almost daily for years. Jin. His name was Jin. Seokjin to be more precise, but he preferred to be called Jin he said.

It felt a bit surreal to be going home with him. If I had been younger or at least not a mom I would be thrilled to go home with such a handsome guy. But that was not who I was, I was nervous, and I wondered if this was a dumb thing to do.

"This is my place." He said and opened up the door to what looked like a relatively nice apartment. It was a lot bigger than the ones I had lived in.

"I'm home, I brought company!" He yelled as we both entered.

I followed him but stayed hidden behind him. I barely knew Jin, so meeting his roommates felt a bit strange.

"Is it Jimin? I told him to stop by tomorrow, I'm tired." I heard a voice coming from the apartment.

"Ah, no, it's not Jimin. Come say hi to Hyo-Rin." Jin said and turned around to look at me. I smiled shyly at him. "You don't have to hide, they're really nice. I promise." He whispered and winked at me.

I nodded and stepped to the side of Jin. There was a guy sitting on the couch, with black long hair almost covering his eyes. Out of another room, a guy with grayish-blonde hair stepped into the living room.

"Guys, this is Hyo-Rin. She'll be staying here for the night." Jin said as he gestured towards me.

"Hi, I'm Yoongi." The guy with the black hair who sat on the couch said with a little wave.

The other one walked up to me and held out his hand. I shook it a little reluctantly.

"I'm Namjoon. Nice to meet you." He had a bright smile on his face and I couldn't help but feel that he looked really trustworthy. Or maybe I was just trying to comfort myself about being in a house with 3 male strangers.

"Nice to meet you both," I said.

The guy named Namjoon then turned towards Jin. "I thought you were working today, I had no idea you went on a date." He said, a grin spread on his face.

I immediately felt my face turn bright red. This was so embarrassing.

"Oh no, she's not my date." He looked at me and leaned in a bit. "Can I explain it to them?" He asked me quietly.

I nodded at him.

"Hyo-Rin is one of the customers at the shop. She, eh, she is in a little bit of trouble as she lost her house and her job. I didn't want her to sleep outside all alone. So she's staying in my room for the night." Jin explained.

Yoongi's brow furrowed as he looked at me. "Just for tonight? Where are you going tomorrow?" He asked.

"Uhm, my best friend's place. He isn't home right now." I said and looked at my hands. I felt ashamed about being homeless. I was grateful however that Jin didn't mention Dae-Jung. I didn't want these two guys to think I was the screw-up that I was.

"I'll show you my room so you can get some sleep. You must be tired." Jin said and motioned for me to follow him.

"Have a good night." I heard Namjoon say.

Jin's room was not what I expected at all. Not that I necessarily had any expectations of how the bedroom of the cashier of the convenience store was going to look like.

There were framed movie posters on his walls, a large bed was in the corner next to the window and he had piles of books on his desk. They were all about movies, acting, filmmaking for what I could see. It was very clear that movies were his passion right away.
