[a/n - This is a pure imagining of what will happen after the events of episode 4, when Zon goes to Saifah's place. I haven't read the novel, so this most definitely will be hogwash ...]
The rain is pouring outside.
Saifah's room is much cleaner than he expected. Not that he had any thoughts about Saifah's room. At all.
Zon scrunches up his nose, his impulsive decision makes him all the more sure he is stuck in his sister's novel. It has to be. There couldn't be any other reason for Zon to extend his time spent in present company.
Speaking of present company, Saifah is in the shower. Zon shivers slightly, his damp clothes are causing goosebumps to break all over his skin. He had stubbornly refused to shower first. He knows what that leads to in novels. He can't take the chance.
Zon doesn't even care about that damn guitar pick. Why had he been so insistent?
"Your turn."
Saifah is fresh out of the shower, hair damp and in a t-shirt and shorts. Zon gulps as his eyes follow a stray drop of water glide across Saifah's pale neck. If he was in his sister's novel, Zon would have been entranced and found this ... um ... sexy.
But he doesn't. Of course not.
Zon practically bolts into the toilet, snatching the towel and change of clothes in Saifah's extended arm.
His heart is racing like he's run a marathon. He's going crazy.
Damn, N'Zol.

Saifah is scrolling on his phone, when Zon comes back. He offers a lazy grin.
"Took you long enough."
Zon scowls, Saifah has the unique ability to irritate him in the fewest words. He knows it's childish of him to act this way, but something about Saifah brings out the worst in him.
Saifah grins, a sight Zon is getting accustomed to. It's bright and makes Zon's lips quirk up without his own will. He sits on the edge of Saifah's bed.
"Here."
Zon furrows his brows. His guitar pick is hanging off the bracelet they bought at Siam that day. He stretches his hand out only to have Saifah stretch his arm out of Zon's reach.
"Ai'Saifah!"
Zon yanks on Saifah's wrist causing him to lose his balance and landing on Zon, toppling both of them on Saifah's bed. Zon opens his mouth to unleash the spew of curses at the tip of his tongue, but he catches the gaze of Saifah's sharp brown eyes and he's lost.
His stomach swoops as his eyes drift down to Saifah's lips. His mother always told him it was rude to stare. But he can't look away.
Saifah's hands feel warm on his waist, his own have found their way around Saifah's neck. Zon licks his lips unconsciously. He closes his eyes, it's all too much for him.
"Zon?"
Damn, why does he have to call me like that?
Zon reluctantly opens his eyes, there's the usual mirth in Saifah's eyes.
"Are you overthinking again?"
Zon's disobedient hands finally manage to unwind themselves from Saifah's neck and push him away.
"What? No!"
Saifah's laughing. Zon's skin feels warm, he knows he's flushed. Of all times, why did he have to blush like the protagonist of a Korean drama? He doesn't watch them, mind you. He just knows ...somehow.
