Helen grinned and then jumped into his arms.Valco chuckled and then set her down on the floor."The next week you come here,ill teach you how to ride a griffin"Valco said to Helen as he took Dagger back to his stable.
Helen nodded,smiling,and then headed back to the Audet mansion with Valco quietly.As they both entered and talked to each other with smiles on their faces,everyone turned to look at them.Valco then noticed and looked up at them a bit embarrassed.
"What?"He asked as everyone smirked.Everyone then quickly go back to what they were doing and mumbled"Nothing at all."
After the long week,Valco finally went and and took Helen back home.Valco opened the portal and through it with Helen.Helens whole family looked up as they sat on the table quietly.
Helen smiled,happy to be home."Don't forget this"Valco said as everyone begs to talk and walk towards Helen quickly.Helen turned around to face him and saw him holding Hoot in his hands.Helen took it from him happily.Valco smiled at her and then awkwardly patted her head.
"Bye,Helen"He said."Bye"Helen said.Valco then closed the portal and left.Suddenly,she felt a bunch of hands wrap around her."We missed you so much!!"Helen heard her mother shout happily.Helen gasped for air as she felt everyone squeeze her.
"I missed you guys too"Helen finally got to say as everyone backed away.After dinner Helen's mom lead Helen up to her room as she helped Helen carry her things up the stairs.Helen opened the door with a grin.
She and her mom set all the things down and then Helen got into bed.Diana smiled softly and sat on her bed."How was it over there?"She asked.
"It was amazing!They live in a giant mansion!Valco even took me on a flying trip on a griffin!"Helen said as she began to pull her white sweater off to sleep more comfortable.Diana gave a small chuckle."Really?"She asked.Helen nodded.
Suddenly Hoot flew across the room and landed on Helen's stomach.Helens mom yelped softly."Who is that?"She asked as Helen stroked Hoots feathers gently."This is Hoot.I found her in the forest"Helen answered as the Owl-Gryffin gave a small hoot and purr.
Diana then noticed a bright pink mark on her wrist.She squinted and then raised an eyebrow.
"What's this?"Diana asked as she grabbed Helen's wrist gently.Helen yelped softly and pulled her arm away from her mother."Sorry,it just hurts"Helen said as she sat up and gently rubbed her wrist."What happened to you???"Her mom asked in a worried tone.
"I-I just felt and sprained my wrist really bad"Helen lied.She knew that if she told her mom the truth she would probably never go back to the Audet Mansion.She didn't want to stay away.She had completely fallen in love with Palecion.
"Oh.well then,get some rest"Diana said.Helen nodded and then lied down back in bed.
Helen woke up the next morning and groaned.Her alarm was ringing and it was time for her to get up for school.
She slowly sat up on her bed in her cold room and began to shiver.She rubbed her eyes,looked around the room,and then spotted her jacket.She quickly reached out and grabbed her sweater.
She then slipped it on and got out of bed.She shivered quietly and quickly took out some pants and her green converse.She then changed into her black pants and slipped on her shoes.She tied them and then walked to her mirror.
She took out her brushed and then began to comb her hair and neatly tied it into a ponytail.Helen sighed softly and then got her backpack.She pulled it onto her back and then quietly walked downstairs to the kitchen.
Her mother was making pancakes as she hummed to herself.Her step brother and sister were already at the table ready to eat."Good morning Helen"Her mother said as Helen sat down at a empty chair.
"Mornin mom"Helen said as she yawned and set her backpack down.After breakfast,Helen then headed out of the house and began to walk to her school.She sighed softly as the cold air rushed against her face.
Helen's cheeks began to turn bright red.After about 15 minutes Helen finally arrived to her school and then walked to her first period class.She walked down the hall and quickly entered Into her class,science.
Suddenly,the door opened and a girl with black hair walked in with a paper.She then walked to the teacher as everyone began to settle in their seats.Finally,the teacher nodded and the girl left."Helen Jennerson"He called out.Helen raised an eyebrow and got up.
He quietly walked up to the teacher as everyone stared at her."Go to the office.Principle Winters is waiting for you"The teacher said.Helen nodded and then headed out the door and walked to the principles office quietly.
"Umm...yes Principle Winters?"Helen asked as she found the Principle walking towards her."Helen,Ive been noticing that you haven't been to school lately.You've missed this whole week"The Principle said as he ran his hand through his white hair.
Helen scratched her head nervously."Um yeah about that..Ive been busy,lately"She said softly."You will receive Saturday school for the rest of this month,understood?"He asked.
Helen was about to answer back,but instead sighed.She then walked out of the office and back to class.After school,Helen told her mom about what happened.Her mother sighed."Well,I guess your gonna have to go until I find an excuse"She said.

Valco had picked up Helen on Monday and then took her back to the Audet Mansion.Everyone gathered around Helen and greeted her back.
"How was your week?"Skar asked as she hugged Helen and smiled.Helen grinned."It was fine I guess"Helen said,shrugging.
