Chapter seven

Skar grinned,resting her hands on Helen's shoulders.

"Well I'm glad your back"Skar said,patting Helen's shoulder and then heading to her room.Helen then headed upstairs and began to settle in her room.She sighed happily and then ran her fingers through her hair quietly.

She then heard the door open.Helen turned around and found Charlie walk in the room and shutting the door behind him.He smiled at Helen and walked towards her.Helen smiled back at him."Hey Helen.Just wanted to say that it's nice to have you back"He said.

Helen grinned,walked towards him and then hugged him."It's nice to be back"Helen said as Charlie blushed and patted her back awkwardly.

"See you at dinner,then?"He asked as he began to walk to the door.Helen smiled and nodded happily.Charlie then walked out.

The first two days of the week passed.Helen sat in her room.She was alone and she was reading.It was the afternoon and Helen was bored to death.

She sighed softy and then got up from her bed and walked to her widow.She opened the window quietly and then climbed out.She then jumped off the Audet Mansion.She landed on her feet and then looked around the beautiful forest.

She smiled softly and then began to walk into the forest.She walked pass the tall trees and bushes of the forest.She stumped on a puddle and fell on her stomach,yelping.

She groaned and then got up off the floor and dusted herself off."Stupid puddle"She mumbled madly and then began to walk again.

But then she heard a low growling coming from the bushes.She raised an eyebrow,quickly turning to look at the bushes and spotted two glowing eyes from the bushes.

Helen gulped softly and took a flew steps back until she accidentally stepped on a Branch which made a loud snapping noise that echoed across the forest.

Suddenly,a red dragon with black spots and large wings and horns came out,roaring loudly.Helens eyes widened as she gasped in fear.The dragon then flared its nostrils and breathed loudly.

It had its glowing eyes narrowed.It then began to climb out of the blushes and began to growl as it walked towards her.Helen tripped and fell on her butt but quickly began to a scoot backwards.

The dragon then spread its wings and got ready to shoot out its lava like fire.But before it could,a wolf came running and attacked the dragon by the face.

The dragon let out a roar and quickly threw the wolf off of him.The wolf let out a bark and stood in front of Helen,protecting her.The wolf was huge.It had blackish brownish fur and it was growling.

Helen raised both her eyebrows in confusion and panted softly as the dragon gave a little roar and the flew off.After a few seconds,the wolf turned around and began to form into a human.

It was Valco.

Helen raised an eyebrow,still panting softly.Valco gave her a small smile and helped Helen up on her feet.Helen took his hand and got up quickly and dusted herself off.

"Uh,thanks.What happened back there?"Helen asked as her and Valco began to walk into the forest."Oh,about that,well...just to make this simple I'm a werewolf"Valco said.

Helen raised an eyebrow."A werewolf?"Helen asked again."Yep.The whole Audet family is.There are others like vampires,wizards,fairies,shape shifters,and benders"Valco explained.

"Well,I'm not surprised.This place is so...different"Helen said as she looked around,smiling softly.Valco looked down at her and smiled.

"Now,tomorrow we'll begin flying lessons,alright?"Valco asked.Helen grinned and nodded happily."With Dagger?"Helen asked as they entered the Audet Mansion."Yup"Valco answered.

The next day,Valco lead Helen outside to Dagger.Valco petted the griffin softly and then climbed onto him.He then held out his hand for Helen.

Helen smiled and took it.She climbed behind Valco and then wrapped her arms around his torso.Valco smiled and held onto Daggers feathers.

Dagger then flew Into the air.He headed into the air and made his way to a white mountain where there was a cave,high into the air.He finally landed in the cave and Valco climbed off.

Helen followed him down.

"So...what are we doing first?"Helen asked as she walked towards Valco.Valco then picked her up and carried her in his arms."Alright.You ready?"Valco asked as Helen looked up at him.

"Yeah!"Helen said in a exited tone.Valco chuckled and then began walking to the edge of the mountain.But Helen noticed Dagger wasn't there.She raised an eyebrow as Valco finally got to the edge.

"One...Two..."Valco began to count down."Wait what are you doing??"Helen asked In a panicked voice."Three!"Valco then threw Helen out of his arms and into the air.

Helen screamed as she began falling through the clouds and getting nearer towards the floor each second.Her heart beat was going by fast.

But suddenly Dagger appeared and quickly swooped down for her and caught her.Helen panted loudly and gripped onto Daggers feathers,not willing to let go.She then quickly began to climb onto his back.

She put one leg over and sat on his back.She felt his wings flap on the back of her legs,which kept her from falling.Helen held on tight with her shaky hands.

She finally gained control of Dagger.They glided over the pink clouds as Helen slowly looked down at the trees and forest."Okay..okay.Lets go back"Helen begged.

But dagger only roared and swooped down into the forest which made Helen screamed softly and lightly In a panicked tone.They began to fly into the forest.

They swooped passed the trees quickly,which dagger had to turn from side to side to avoid from getting his wings hit.Helen gripped onto Daggers feathers panicking slightly.

She began to pant softy until Dagger flew up into the air and then back to the cave.
