He hated this. Jackson swallowed that brewing anger when it was a fire-seed, and so it grew in his heart throughout the night until it came out as hot as any dragon has ever flamed...He clenched his fist as he watched the members of other male groups desperately try to grab her attention, as she plastered the fakest smile she could.
She appeared in the room with the winter snow billowing around her skirt. Most did pay attention to her beauty, and the colour she wore enhancing this. Burnt Sienna never looked so beautiful on a woman. With black hair of wool and her head held high, she waltzed on with an effortless saunter. The clicking of her heels added rhythm to the soft music that played onward without pause. Her eyes scanned the room with determination in search of someone when her eyes landed on Jackson, she smiled. So beautiful it was like the stars themselves, decided to rest behind the soft cushion of her lips.He knew it wasn't her fault, but he was angry. He was angry at any idiot that came three steps near her. She sat down in her seat across from him turing to meet his piercing gaze that softened as she gave him a small smile, he felt the anger melt away in an instance as his own smile met hers. Jackson felt himself immerse into his own thoughts as she engaged in a conversation with Jennie who came to greet her. She was amazing to all, not just him, but to whoever came into contact with her. She had a kind of understated beauty, perhaps it was because she was so disarmingly unaware of her prettiness. Her skin was completely flawless. She was all about simplicity, making things easy, helping those around her to relax and be happy with what they have. Perhaps that is why her skin glowed so, it was her inner beauty that lit her eyes and softened her features. When she smiled and laughed you couldn't help but smile along too, even if it was just on the inside. To be in her company was to feel that you too were someone, that you had been warmed in summer rays regardless of the season, Something radiated from within that rendered her irresistible to both genders. Men desired her and women courted her friendship. And he hated having to deal with the first one.
Jackson shook his head as he looked up onto the stage that was decorated with MAMA 2020 around it.
2020.
It had been three years. Three amazing years since they had met and fell in love. She was the ice to his fire. Each completing each other in away they didn't know they both needed. When he saw her, it's was as if space and time become the finest point imaginable, as if time collapsed into one tiny speck and exploded at the speed of light. It's as if his universe began and ended with her. He knew he could run forever, search forever, but in the end, every path led right back to her heart and soul and he would not have it any other way. He was helplessly in love with her.
She had turned for the second time that night to him, her soft curls flaming around her face as she looked to make sure there was no cameras to capture their exchange. She stuck her thumb up at him pointing at him, she then pointed to her phone as she turned back around. He took his own out, smiling at the message that brightened the screen in front of the lockscreen of them. "You look so handsome." She turned back to him wiggling her eyebrows as he laughed, the boys catching the exchange and waving to Irene who waved back enthusiastically, they laughed at her as she did the same. She kept her eyes trained to him, just smiling as she unknowingly erased every single trace of anger. Irene jumped as a cold hand touched her bare shoulder, forcing her gaze to break with his, Jackson seethed as Suho looked at Irene trying to gain her attention, she shrugged of his wandering hand, abruptly looking to Jackson in concern before smiling softly at Suho who stood in front of her, blocking her view of Jackson. He felt the anger return in a instant, shooting out his seat only for Mark to push him back down, Jackson looked at him furiously "Mark get out of my way..." "Bro, you can't intervene, and you know why... no one knows you guys are together... your gonna expose yourself all because you can't keep your anger in check..." "I'm gonna break that hand." Jackson mumbled as he slouched back in his seat, turning to the side. His eyes wondering back to the exchange, with a firm scowl imprinted on his face. The boys shook their heads, laughing at him, as he huffed in annoyance, grateful that the awards ceremony was starting as Suho returned to his seat. Irene sat back down, taking her phone into hands, his phone going off a second later "Stop scowling...he was just being friendly. I love you x so smile my love xx". He looked at her as she refused to turn around putting her phone back in her purse and talking to the girls. She had succeeded in returning the smile to his features.
