Chapter 2: The Beach

•ALEXS POV•
When we arrived to the beach I was so excited to be able to hang out with o2l and so were my friends. Honestly, I just wanted to get to know Jc more. We started walking towards the ocean and we made a fire in a fire pit that was there. Jennifer wanted to sit next to Connor and Lilly wanted to sit next to Ricky, so of course I was alone and noticed Jc wasn't there. We were talking and laughing for about 5 minutes when Jc showed up and sat next me. "Where have you been?" I asked.

"I was getting blankets from the car and a jacket." He replied.

"Oh" I blushed and he giggled which made me blush more.

"So, Alex where are you from and why did you move?"

"Phoenix. We moved here because we just wanted to live our life's and have fun. Nothing really special."

"That's why I moved here too. You know you should let me show you around town tomorrow. And maybe I should bring Connor I think he likes Lilly."

"That sounds fun! And I think should bring Jennifer. I think she's crushing on Ricky" we smiled.

•JCS POV•
Alex seems really nice and I think I'm starting to like her. I hope she likes me back. I hear snapping. It was Alex trying to get me out of deep thought. "Sorry about that." I said and she giggle her cute little laugh.

•ALEXS POV•
I think I might like Jc but I'm not sure. I just can't wait until tomorrow when we hang out. I really want to see the town. "Hey since Connor and Ricky are coming you might as well invite Kian and Trevor and maybe we could go to the mall." I suggested.

"That's not a bad idea!" He said then he announced to everyone "Hey guys me and Alex thought that we should show them around town tomorrow." Lilly and Jennifer's eyes lit up. I could tell that they were looking forward for tomorrow and then Lilly got up with Jennifer and they looked at me and walked away. That was our signal for "we need to talk". So, I went to where they were.

"I really can't wait until tomorrow!!" Lilly practically shouted and I laughed and looked back to see if they heard her, which they didn't. We talked for a few more minutes and then sat back down in our seats. While I was talking to Jc I notice a girl coming our way. When she got here she said her name was Emma and sat down next to Jc and smiled at him and he smiled back. I have to confess I was a little jealous. I asked Kian for the car keys and I went to the car to get a blanket because I was getting cold.

When I closed the door Emma was standing next to me and said "Hey back off Jc he's mine. Oh and by the way don't ever speak to him again." Then she walked off. For the rest of the night I stayed by the car cause I didn't feel like dealing with drama tonight. Soon I saw Everyone walking back to the car and Emma to her car and she glared at me.

When we got into the care Jc asked "Hey, where did you go we missed you." All eyes were on me.

I lied and said "I wasn't feeling to well." The rest of the car ride was quiet. When we got home Lilly and Jennifer asked me if I was really sick and I said no.

"Why did you lie?" Lilly asked.

"You know Emma?" They nodded. "Well when I went to go get my blanket from the car she followed me and told me to stay away from Jc and that he was hers."

"Yea I noticed that she left and when she got back she had this big grin on her face like she had accomplished something." When we were done with our conversation we just went to our rooms to go to bed. I washed my face and took a shower, then dried off and put my hair in a messy bun, got into basketball shorts and a tank top, and went to bed. I couldn't fall asleep. All I could think about was to tomorrow and worrying about what to do about the situation with Emma and Jc. It was 3 in the morning when I finally started to get tired and soon fell into a deep sleep.
