Third Person 

Everyone was freaking about last night's power outage and you, on the other hand, knew why it happened. You didn't tell Tom anything last night even though he was worried about your absence for not returning home that night. It was already morning, people in the US Confederacy Convention were discussing the issue and they had no other choice to call in a mad scientist named Dr. Robotnik. Back at your place, you were sitting in your room painting another artwork only this time it was Sonic that you made just for him. 

Your Painting: This belongs to the owner that painted this for Sega. I do NOT own it!

'Sonic is an interesting creature and weird just like me.' You thought. 

You painting his fur while gently filling in the lines until Tom comes in and sees you painting again. He smiled as he places a hand on your shoulder making you stop as he looked into your eyes.

"You did a really good job there, Y/N." He said.

"Thank you. Where did Maddie go?" You asked.

"Uh, she went to her sister's house," Tom responded scratching the back of the neck. 

Not to be rude but you dislike Maddie's sister because whenever you go to visit she would always be so rude about your feature. You can't help that you were born as a cat and you can't change yourself about it. 

"Okay. But why didn't we all go?" You asked.

"Y/N, yesterday I received a letter from a police department and they awarded me to be assisted there. We're going to be moving and Maddie is booking an apartment for us to live in." Tom explained and that's when you felt your heart shatter.

You didn't want to leave after last night you just met Sonic. He could be your first best friend that you ever had in such a long time.

"I don't want to leave!" You shouted.

"Y/N, honey we-"

"No! I don't want to leave and you can't make me." You protested.

"Y/N Wachowski, we cannot be arguing about it anytime soon because it's already been decided. We are leaving San Fransico and that's-" Tom was cut off by a loud crash from outside and you heard it too. It came from the garage and you both thought it might be the raccoons that returned from the woods to eat more garbage.

"I guess the raccoons won't stop eating garbage." You said.

"I'm about to fix that." Tom grinned.

"No! Tom, you can't kill them." You retorted.

"What? No! I'm not going to kill them I'll only tranquilize them." He explained as he went downstairs and you followed behind him to see him rubbishing through the cabinets and find the tranquilizing kit.

"Tom please don't do this! Maddie is going to kill you if you use them on those poor creatures." You yelled as he ignored you and place one in and sadly looked at you.

"It has to be this way Y/N." He said.

Tom walked around you to head outside and you couldn't just stand there to let it all happen. You followed Tom outside the house and pace over to him begging him not to do anything to them.

Sonic Pov

I was in Tom's garage after finding out that some people were after me to try and find out what caused a blackout. I was scared and I didn't have a choice since the earth was like a home to me and I blew it. I can never come back or either has a chance to be around Y/N as much as I want. 

"Okay, I'm in. We have minimum damage to Donut Land Lords' property." I had my bag around the waist and pulled out a ring trembling in fear. "Here we go. Didn't work out on earth, but that's okay. You're going to a safe world. A nice safe world full of mushrooms. Mushrooms that will be your only friend."

I just realized what I just said, "That sounds awful! I can't do this! You have to do it...there is no other option." 

I took a deep breath and let it out to relax and I was about to throw the ring until the door opened to reveal Tom and Y/N standing there. 

"SAPD! Standing background check paws in the air-" Tom was cut off when he flashed the light on me holding a weapon in his hands as I stood there in shock. I looked over at Y/N who was surprised to see me here as I sheepishly smiled a little.

"Uh...meow?" I said in a cat tone.

We both screamed as he shot me in my leg causing my vision to blur as the ring felled to open a portal on top of San Francisco corporation building when the bag of rings felled out and dropped down to land on the building. That's when everything went black and I don't know what else happened after that. 

"What the-Y/N you have some explaining to do," Tom said.
