Chapter 17- This is getting really annoying

"Oh wow, finally some civilization" Manta beamed as I nodded in agreement. After some time of searching we finally found a small village with some places to sleep at.

"Let's find a hotel, get clean and then we'll eat something. You don't mind do you Anna" Yoh asked as we saw her fighting with the cashier of a gift shop, trying to get a cheaper key charm.

"Typical Anna" I sighed and turned towards the others.

"Guys look" Rio shouted as I looked at him in confusion.

"Don't you notice anything weird" Ren said as I looked around, and then I noticed it. This place was full of shamans, and only shamans since each one of them was wearing an oracle bell.

"Their all shamans" Yoh exclaimed as I looked over to a bar restaurant.

"I wonder what their doing here" Choco asked as Anna answered sarcastically.

"Let's hope there not here to buy a key charm"

We made our way into the bar finding a place to sit at. I sighed in relief as I sat down on the the chairs that the restaurant offered.

"What's up with you?" Horo asked as I loudly exhaled and he gave me a confused look.

"Finally some kind of break from this drama and this past history and my feelings for-" I cut myself off before finishing the sentence. Rio smirked as if he knew what I was gonna say, to be honest I didn't even personally know why I would even say that name.

"Feelings for who?" Anna asked curiously but there was some anger behind her voice.

"My feelings for....x-laws!" I shouted as everyone in the room looked at me I smiled apologetically as everyone went back to what they were doing.

"And when I say feelings I mean the annoyance they give me" I corrected as I looked at the others when they nodded but didn't fully believe me.

"I feel a strong presence of spirits" Amidamaru said after a while.

"Looks like everyone here is participating in the tournament" Bason said.

"Then why isn't anyone here fighting, it seems like brawling has become a tradition to do that when shamans meet" Ren said as someone beside us started to laugh, Ren looked at him weirdly "who are you?!" He asked.

"I'll tell you but then like you said we'll need to arrange a brawl" the guy answered while laughing as Ren irritated.

"Why...are you!!" Ren started shouting as Bason told him to calm down.

"Your spirits right, shamans in this town are the best of the best. Some say that there are even immortal ones" the guy had blonde hair and had quit a special clothing style,

"Immortal" Anna repeated after listening to his words.

"What do you mean immortal"

"That means they don't die" The guy said with a sly smirk.

"I get that but who are they!" Horo shouted annoyed as the guy never answered his question.

"I see. So what your saying is that we should keep quiet here" Manta spoke as I took a sip of my coffee with milk in and 3 scoops of sugar, just the way I like it.

"Well done!" The guy exclaimed
"Say please say thank you and leave, it would be dumb to get into a fight with a dangerous opponent just because he stepped on your toe"

Ren looked like he was getting more and more annoyed at the guy as time went by.

"Well thanks for the advice but now please leave" Ren said tru his gritted teeth as the guy didn't seem to care.
