Chapter 18- Chuckling

3rd person pov

Suddenly Hao chuckled as Opacho sat beside him.

"Looks like she's mad at me" he whispered as Opacho looked up and smiled softly.

"Opacho likes her" she said as Hao laughed for himself.

"Your not the only one. She's quit interesting that one, so interesting that I want to know more..."

AINA'S POV

After searching for the guys I finally found them but not the way I wanted to...

Lyserg was battling some other shamans, that looked to be from Egypt. My breath stopped and my eyes widened as Lyserg was about to kill them, more specifically. Cut their throats with his pendant.

"Lyserg!" Yoh and I yelled at the same time.

Suddenly Lyserg stopped, as he fell to the ground. Chloe came out and Lyserg started to put the blame on her.

"We had a chance to show Jeanne our loyalty, what's wrong with you" he started complaining but their Iron Maiden didn't sound the least budged by it.

"You didn't complete the order" she hit him as he fell to the ground again.

"Jeanne no! I would never disobey" he yelled but just got ignored, as Marco straightened up their Iron Maiden. Suddenly Anna's pearls started to shake as a sign of strong power, which made me gasp.

"Get ready right now you will get to see the Iron Maiden" Marco said as I looked intensely at their leader who was about to show herself.

But I wasn't the only one, everyone was looking intensely. Waiting for Jeanne to appear.

When her casket opened inside was a young a girl, about our age. Long silver hair that reached over her waist and she was rounded with plants.

"Didn't know she was that young" Jun commented as I agreed.

"Me neither Jun. me neither"

"Everyday my hearts breaks. Because in me as in others there's so much pain" Jeanne said as she slowly started to come forward.

"When I looked around the people I saw deep sadness, then I started looking for the true hope but it was all almost gone from our world. I wanted to do something so I visited the great spirit of the gates of Babylon. To get his power I agreed to become the Iron Maiden, then I got a large amount of furokye and hid from the sadness of the world. Now I'm the Iron Maiden and I will stay her until the win against true evil.."

All that talk made me yawn as Anna slapped away my hand.

"I have this feeling that everyone should go home and she's gonna become the shaman queen" Manta said being affected of her words.

"I know, she looks like a magical princess" Tamao agreed as I sighed, (like I so often do)

"Let's just hope she's not Snow white" A/N: (no offense to Snow white lol)

"I don't fight to give pain, I fight to erase it from earth"

Jeanne has put on her iron clothing which I guess she usually uses for her fights.

The guy tried to attack her but Jeanne stopped him by hanging him in chains, and her spirit appeared, Mash.

"If you admit that you wanted to pain others and your sorry for your anger then I will spare your spirits" Jeanne said as they refused to listen.

"We're not villains"

"But we will destroy you"

"I'll give you one last chance, admit your guilt" Jeanne said again but they really refused to listen.

"No never!"

"How dare you, you have no right to judge us"

"You disappointed me" Jeanne sighed as she went back into her iron coffin as her casket closed.

"Mash finish your job" she said
"Clean the world from pure villains"

"No!" I could hear Yoh yell

But It didn't take long before her spirit killed off every single one of them who she had trapped when they refused to listen to her and instead kept on going.

"The Iron Maiden is to sad to have a conversation, but we will still meet Yoh Asakura but for now, goodbye" Marco said before he started to walk away with Lyserg by his side as usual.

"Jeanne isn't the only one who's sad" Rio commented to them but in return got ignored.

You sighed before he turned back towards us all.

"What kind of day is this" Rio said again as Ren agreed with him, and Yoh sighed again but louder this time.

"I don't get it. Didn't Lyserg hear me"

"I'm sure he did Yoh but maybe Lyserg just...he maybe..." Manta tried to say but got interrupted by Ren who cut him off.

"Or maybe he didn't, now he's one of them. The Lyserg we once knew isn't there anymore"

"The Iron Maiden...she's gonna become a lot of trouble" Anna said as Yoh looked away in disappointment.

"Whatever. Let's just go"

As we started walking to our hotel room I stayed a bit behind thankful that no one noticed.

"Lyserg..."

"Your in dip shit right now"
I muttered under my breath.

Even though no one saw it except for me, Marco and Jeanne the question wouldn't go out of my head.

Why did he stop the attack.
