I briefly defined a long march through the institutions in the introduction of this book as the act of subverting a society over the course of several generations through the gradual and incremental infiltration of key institutions such as the schools and universities, the media, the courts, the labour unions, the cinema and theatre, the seminaries and churches, and at least one major political party.
The long march through the institutions was contrived in the mind of what is known as the Frankfurt school. The Frankfurt school refers to school of thought central to the scholars of the Institute for Social Research,
