After Lian's and coles dad had caught their mom cheating he just, left went a-wall, off the map whatever you want to call it that's what he did. And if things couldn't have gotten any worse their mom ended up marrying the guy she cheated on their dad with,and on the the day of the wedding Lilian ended up getting sick,but of course the mom didn't take it as a sign and she still married the guy. Their marriage was anything but perfect they argued all the time,the only reason why Lilian and cole didn't hear the arguments was beacause their grandma and aunt would always come upstairs and bring them down to thier apartment,so they wouldn't have to hear or see them arguing. As life would happen that didn't last long until her husband said " I don't like your family always being up in our business", and instead of her saying,"that's because they love and care me and my children's wellbeing", she said ok and they moved away from their grandmaother.
