The Reason

There was a tense silence on the plane. Bruce looked over to the teens to see them all huddled together. One of the twins was speaking to the older girl quietly while holding his brother. He felt a tug on his sleeve and looked to his left to see the youngest sibling holding on to his shirt. She tilted her head curiously, her white hair swaying gently behind her.

"Nani ga dekiru- What can you do?" (What can-) She started asking in her native language only to switch over halfway through. Bruce realized she probably thought he didn't speak Japanese.

"I speak Japanese if that makes you more comfortable." He reassured quietly. He'd been to a lot of different places during his time in hiding, Japan being one of his favorites.

She smiled brightly at him, "no that's ok." She turned to her siblings waving them over. Bruce turned his head not even realizing they had gone silent. They were watching them interact intently. At their sister's insistence they walked over to him and sat on the ground in front of him.

"I'm Shan," the older sister started, she pointed over to the twin she was talking to earlier then the second one,"that's Javier and Dylan," she then pointed to the youngest sibling, "and finally that's Trinity."

"Well?" The young girl question impatiently. She was shifting in her seat next to Bruce.

"Well, what?" Bruce questioned confused.

"What can you do." She sighed exasperated. "All those other people were flying and using magic and running really fast. That lady-"
"Natasha."
"-Natasha said you would protect us." Glaring at her brother for correcting her. He just shrugged his shoulders and looked back up at scientist.

"If it comes down to it I will protect you. That's all that matters." He reassured.

"But how?"

Bruce leaned down and whispered to them. The siblings leaned in to hear him better.

"I have a secret power." He leaned back up after he said that. The kids looked at each other in wonder.

"Well, can you do anything else?" Trinity asked curiously.

"I'm a scientist."

"Oh! Oh! My brother likes science and he's really smart." She yelled excitedly. She looked over to one of the twins, he ducked behind his brother. If I remember correctly that twin's name is.... Dylan.

"What kind of science do you like?" Bruce asked hoping to calm the shy boy down.

".......Seikagaku." (Biochemistry) He mumbled.

"Really?" Bruce asked surprised. "That's what I specialize in."

Before the boy got a chance to respond there was an explosion outside. The ship started lighting up red and alerts started going off.

"BRUCE!" Someone screamed from over the comms.

He put his hand up to his ear," I'm here! I'm here!" he yelled.

"Open the cargo doors and start the ship!"

"Okay!" He panicked and ran towards the cargo doors.

"Whats going on!" Javier screamed from over the noise.

"Its time to go!" Bruce responded running back towards the cockpit, "Sit down and strap in."

They all rushed to their seats and sat down. The cargo doors lowered and the sound of explosions and gunfire got louder. Suddenly, Tony flew in, followed by Sam. They landed and Tony retracted his suit. Natasha and Clint ran in next followed by Pietro and finally Wanda, who was creating a shield out of her magic. Natasha ran up and hit the cargo doors button, Wanda dispersed her magic as the doors shut.

"Let's get you guys to safety." Natasha said rushing towards the front of the ship to assist Bruce. "Every one buckle in!" She yelled behind her.

As everyone rushed to there seats the plane rocked again. Pietro stumbled and started falling towards the floor. Before he could hit the ground, he felt two strong arms catch him. The speedster looked up to see the oldest twin holding him up and blushed a bright pink.

He quickly righted himself,"Thank you анђео," he smiled before rushing to his seat. The plane took off in the opposite direction of the destroyed cars and knocked out hydra lackeys.

As everyone settled in and prepared for a long ride back, Natasha called that they were clear to remove their seat belts. Immediately Shan unbuckled her belt and hopped up. She strutted over to Tony and plopped down on the ground in front of him.

"You said your name was Tony right?" She asked him looking up and examining his appearance.

"Yes." He answered confused.

"As in Tony.....Stark?" She asked getting to her kness excitedly.

"Yes?"

"THE Tony Stark?"

"YES?"
'
"Oh....my...GOD!" She sceamed hopping to her feet. Scaring the poor man half to death.

Her siblings looked over in alarm. The older girl was jumping up and down and fangirling to herself. When they saw that nothing was wrong with her they went back to their previous conversations. The girl in question was now walking back and forth in front of Tony muttering to herself in Japanese.

"Are you okay?" The genius asked in concern.

"No I'm not okay! I'm talking to THE Tony Stark. Most renowed engineer of the decade. I have seen and read about so many of your inventions and watched so many of your conventions and conferences. I love your green energy idea. I was thinking tha-"

"Slow down kid." Tony interrupted her laughing. He coaxed the girl back onto the ground and waited for her to settle down. Once she setttled down the two of them launched into a very complex conversation about the theory of compressing energy to make something more portable and less space consuming.

Clint watched the interaction in amusement. He turned to Bruce, who had just exited the cockpit, and pointed a thumb behind him.

"Looks like you'll have another pair of hands in the lab." He said chuckling. Bruce turned his head toward the shy boy sitting in the corner with his brother. He was nodding along to whatever his sister was saying. Bruce smiled and turned back to look at the grinning archer.

"I don't think she'll be the only one."
