I wake up the next morning at three o'clock a.m. and I find mom at the side of my bed with the most bruises I have ever seen on her, I guess last night wasn't the best night. I attempt to crawl out of bed and see if I can wake her up. It is a long process and if hurt my bruised and bloody legs. Finally, I made my way to her and lightly tapped her shoulder, she didn't move. I tapped her shoulder harder and she still didn't move. I started to hit her as hard as I could... Not to be mean, but to wake her up because, at this point, I was worried. What if she never woke up? Then what would I do? No one would be there to help me, I would die. But enough about me... My mom needed help and fast!!! I started screaming, and then my hurricane kicked in. I guess it wasn't only at night when I had a hurricane, but whcen I was scared or stressed. Then I saw a flutter in her eyes, she woke up with a sudden change. She sat up and cradled me in her arms, saying it will be alright and that she was sorry that she fell asleep like that. I was still in shock, but at least my hurricane went away. I wanted to say that I was sorry for hurting her and sorry that I keep on waking her up at night to where she only has a few hours to sleep, but most of all, I wanted to tell her that I was sorry that I wasn't who she wanted me to be. I wanted that thing so badly, so I did. At first, it sounded like "hdkwjne, rhfinsndjeienrrj" but I was so determined that I tried again,

" I amb sobry bat I burt yo band I amb sobry bat I amb note who youb wanmf ne bu be" good enough, I am pretty sure she got the message, but wow! That is the most I have ever spoken in three years! Mom looks down at me and smiles, but is crying. "You did it, Marigold! You did it! You spoke! But don't ever say that again!" She suddenly turned angry.   " You are everything and more of what I want to you to be. Do you understand?" I nodded. "Can you say more for mommy?" I tried again. "Deah!" Mom was overwhelmed with joy. I haven't seen her this happy in all my life! I was happy that I could finally make her laugh. This is totally the best day of my life! Then mom said, "let's go wash our selves up!" Then she carried me into the bathroom to give me a bath.
