Chapter 12 : Subha's Birthday's A Connector - Part One

After school - at Liam's

" Hey guys ! " Liam greeted us all with a bottle of coke on his left and a bunch of paper cups on his right," okay, I have a plan for my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow. Be part of it, you all ? " 

" A surprise ? " Kasmietra jumped from Zayn's lap.

" Yes ! Okay, let's have a slumber party, at here ! Well, I umm actually haven't wish her yet " Liam said, scrathing the back of his head. 

" Geez, Liam ! You forgot ?! She's probably sad and angry right now. " Harry grinned.

" Yeah, I know. But it's actually for the surprise tonight. I didn't forget her birthday of course. She's my girlfriend, Haz ! " Liam exclaimed, giving Harry a fake slap. I love it when they both exchange stupid fake slaps and then they act as if it hurts, but obviously their acting ain't any good.  

" Seriously ? You do know that she's going to hate you " Niall giggled. 

" But she'll end up loving me more later. " Liam smiled and continued, " so you guys in ? "

" Absolutely ! " everyone agreed.

" Great ! 10 pm, tomorrow ! " Liam exclaimed.

Next day - at Liam's

Liam's Point of View

Everyone was here, except for Subha. Seconds later I heard the door bell. I answered it to find my girlfriend with a frown on her beautiful face.

" Babe, you're here ! At last, we were waiting for you. " I smiled.

" Yeah, thanks ! " she said in a not good tone, which is about to change.

" So, what are we doing ? " Harry asked putting his hand on his girlfriend. It was nice to see all my pals together, well except for Khalpana and Louis. At least they're best of  friends and that was enough.

" 7 minutes in heaven ! " Harry rushed in front of Liam, begging him for it.

" We all know you want to get into the closet to smooch with you girlfriend, Harry ! " Syahirah winked.

" What the ?! " Jeva laughed. 

" What about spin the bottle and truth or dare, then ? Pleaseeeeee Liam ! " Harry begged again. Apparently, I agreed. Who could bear those pouting green eyes ?

" Truth or dare it is ! " Louis exclaimed. 

I fetched a glass bottle and carefully placed it in the middle of us, as everyone sat surrounding it in a circle. Harry excitedly spinned it first.

" Eureka ! " he yelled when the bottle pointed at Jeva. She picked truth.

" What do you like about Harry ? " Khalpana winked. Jeva's almost blanched face turned scarlet. 

" Yeah, yeah ! Why do you luuuuuuuuurve me ? " Harry questioned excitedly.

" Well, umm mostly because he's like a baby. He's adorable and very much unique and different from everyone. He's umm someone I feel extremely comfortable with even when his tweets don't mean anything at all. He umm makes me laugh like crazy !  Yeah, like crazy ! " she stopped. Everyone paused for a few seconds, then gave teased the couple. 

" But " Harry said, " what about my curls and eyes, babe ? " he winked.

" They're irresistable and you know it, Styles ! " Everyone chuckled. Jeva then spinned the bottle next. Guess what, the bottle selected my Subha.

" Truth. " she said dissapointedly.

" How much do you luuuuuuuuuurve Liam ? " Jeva teased. I'm sure she's going to say zero percent, but 

" Actually very much. But he made me sad tonight. " The next second, no one uttered a word. Everyone was looking at me. The boys were signalling if they should get the cake. I turned to her eyes, they were filled with tears but Subha was backing them from falling. I woke up and got into the kitchen. The boys followed. We unpacked the moist chocolate cake saying ' Happy Birthday, Subha Darling ' in the middle. We lighted the candles and carefully brought it to her. When she turned to us, she burst into tears, they were happy ones.

" You though I would forget you birthday, babe ? That's not even the last thing I would do, cause I would never forget it ! " I held her hands and passed the cake knife so she could cut it. I was the first one to be feed. The cake was then cut and distributed to everyone. While the others were munching on their pieces, I decided to give Subha what I got for her.

" A golden bracelet with mini eiffel towers ? Liam, I'm the luckiest girl on Earth ! And I'm sorry for assuming that you for once forgot my birthday. " and she kissed me,
