I'm running for my life. This isn't new thing for me. I owed them drug money that I didn't have. I can hear them screaming at me, "Don't think we won't stop chasing you faggot!" I roll my eyes as I keep running. I'm almost to my boyfriend's apartment. Just a little bit further I tell myself over and over again, giving myself motivation. I see the familiar brick building and go inside. I slam the door behind me running to the end of the dark hallway. I get to Liam's door and open it. Right as I was about to go in the 5 guys that were chasing me came in. I shut and lock the door behind myself.

I slide down the door falling in my butt. I sat there with my head resting against the door as I tried to catch my breath. I bring my hand up to my forehead and wipe the sweat I'd formed.

"Long run?" Liam asked getting up from the couch. My response was just to hold up the bag of weed. We smile at each other as I hand him the bag. He takes the bag and goes back over to the couch to grind it up.

After a minute or two I'm brought back to my normal self. I stand up and go over to my boyfriend who was rolling joints. "I owe them 80 dollars. Also I deserve the first hit."

"You never seem to surprise me, James." He says handing me a joint and kisses my cheek. I take off my leather jacket throwing it on the chair.

"15 dollars per gram can you believe that. Last time I bought weed from them it was only 7." I complain as I put the joint between my lips. Liam gets out his lighter and puts it up to the joint for me. I breathe in the drug it filling my lungs. I cough a little from taking to big of a hit. We pass the joint back and forth until it's gone. It didn't do much for me but give me a buzz but Liam was definitely stoned. He's always been more of a light weight.

"I can't believe they gave up that easily." Liam says flicked the butt of the joint into the trash.

"They chased me all the way from the corner on 2nd street. I'm surprised that they didn't come knocking on your door."

"That really is a long run. Thank god you were in track before you dropped out." He says patting my back.

"Stupid bitch, she kicked me out when she found out I was gay but was perfectly fine with me doing drugs. Shouldn't moms care more about their sons health not who they're fucking."

"That's why got these rings right?" He grabs my hand and we interlock our fingers. "I promised you that I would be there for you no matter what. I told you that I would never leave you unless you really wanted me to. I promised that I would always have room for you." I didn't know what to say back so I just kissed him. I loved him and I didn't care about anyone else's opinion.
