Beach

As I am getting on my computer I see that the weather is supposed to be really nice today and for the rest of the weekend. I remember my girlfriend, Jillian, saying that she has always wanted to go to the beach. I knew that there was a beach not that far away from where my grandparents lived. We used to go there on the weekends before they died. I get up and grab my keys so that I can go to the store. It wasn't uncommon for me to think of random things and just do them. I loved my girlfriend and love to surprise her. I get in my car and drive to Walmart. I get out and grab a shopping cart. I go through the aisles and look for stuff that I know she likes. I first grabbed the roses, which came in many different shades. I also grabbed a 50 pack of tea lights and some Reese Peanutbutter Cups. I even bought a new lighter. I went to the self-checkout and finished buying all of my items.

I drove out the beach that was only an hour's drive. I jammed to my favorite songs as I was thinking of what I was going to do. Once I was got to the beach I went the little hut that in on the edge. I got out the roses and took 3 out of the bouquet. I took off the petals and scattered them on the ground. I then made a path with the tea lights that lead to the heart made out of tea lights. After I was done I got back into my car so I could go to pick up Jillian.

When I got to her house I parked my car and got got out to go to the door. I knocked on the wood 3 times. It took a minute but Jillian came to the door. She smiled as soon as she saw me and pulled me in for a big hug.

"Hey baby!" I say as I pull away from the hug.

"What are you doing here?" She asked looking up at me.

"I gotta surprise for you. I need you to put on this blindfold." I say as I hold out my hand which had the blindfold in it.

She took the blindfold and put it on and I grabbed her hand.

"Don't let me fall and break my neck!" She said as we were going down her steps.

"Don't worry I got you." I said

I drove the whole way to the beach. She seemed excited which made me feel confident. We were finally at the beach and I lead her to the pathway. I left her at the beginning of the path and I went and stood at the end.

"Take off the blindfold baby!" I said smiling from ear to ear. I loved making people happy. I also loved seeing Jillian smile and have a good time. It's always nice to see your loved ones in a good mood. She took off the blindfold and her eyes lit up. She smiled and covered her face with her hands.

"Dylan!" She yelled and ran to me and gave me a huge hug. "I love you!" She said squeezing me even tighter.

"I love you too." I say as I break away from the hug to give her a huge kiss.

For the rest of the night we walked around the beach. I even carried her on my bag when she said her feet hurt.

I know I'm going to spend the rest of my life with this beautiful girl and I can't wait for the day I can officially make her my wife.
