Bzzzz Bzzzz "Nathan, two enemies are spotted coming our way."

I look down from the branch to see two soldiers patrolling underneath me. "Copy, I am going to take them out so stand by if reinforcements come."

"Roger that..."

I peered down the sight of my M110. "Okay, they are on sight." I took a breath, and then fired a shot. The soldier fell down in an instant, the second one dove into a bush where I couldn't see him. "Fuck... hey Sally, I took one down but the other dove into a bush." There was silence on the radio. "Sally?" I heard a scream and then a gunshot. "SALLY!" I jumped from the branch and rolled onto the ground. Then I ran towards the sound. I broke through some vines to see Sally pointing the gun at me.

"God damn it Bro, at least say it was you. You could of had a bullet through your head." Sally lowered her weapon and proceeded to loot the bodies.

I lowered my hands and took a deep breath. "We shouldn't dwell here for too long, reinforcements might show up."

Sally nodded and quickly packed up everything. Sally and I are twins but I am older. We were born in a small village outside the capital city Hangul. During a government raid, our home was burnt down and everyone in the village was killed, including our parents and other siblings. Sally and I both swore to take revenge and kill the head of the government. During our adventure, we were able to steal some weapons and communications tools. We were able to pick up 2 radios and headsets. For weapons, I carry a M110 semiautomatic sniper and a glock while Sally is in charge of close combat with a P90 and a knife. I am much slower but more accurate than Sally, but she is much faster, smaller, and quick thinking compared to me. Together we make a pretty good team.

Sally and I quickly dipped out of the forest and made our way back into the city. As we pass through the inspection gate, we could hear the sounds of army men and trucks driving pass by us. "Hey!" Yelled a scruffy voice. It was one of the inspectors. "Move on it!" He gave me a shove and I nearly stumbled forward.

"Nathan!" Sally rushed up to help me. "Why would you do that?"

"Rats should know their places!" He scoffed at us and turned to do the inspection. We made it through pretty easily since we left our weapons in a hideout in the Far East corner of the woods. All we brought back was rabbits meat the we caught before the soldier hunt. We gather our things and rushed to the refugee camp. Sally made dinner while I went to the flea market to sell the fur and the equipment we got from the soldiers.

The flea market was rather busy today. I could hear the hustling and bustling of everyone around me. It was loud. "Move it!" Someone got knocked to the ground in a nearby booth.

"Tch, people these days don't learn," I scoffed to myself. I quickly ran to the Uncle joe where he traded the fur for 1 bronze. I didn't complain because if I did I would go flying instead of knocked back. For the equipment, I had to go into a bar. I sat at one of the seats with my cloak still on. A waitress came up to me and stared at me confused.

"Aren't you a little too young to be here?" She asked.

"But I am 18 though..." I mumbled to myself.

"Come again?"

I tapped 3 times onto the wooden table and said, "I will have a Blood Hound please."

The waitress grew quiet. "Yes sir, please follow me." She took me behind the bar and into the kitchen where in the corner of the room there was a hidden stairwell.

"Thank you." I preceded to walk down the stairwell. It was quiet. Very quiet. I could still hear the voices above but there was very little going down here. It was dark, but candles lit the room. I knocked on the wall. "Ava, are you there?" Silence, I began to grow worried. "Hey Ava I got something's for you." I entered the room to find it empty. "Ava?" I heard a soft snoring coming from the corner of the room. I grabbed a lamp from the wall and shined it on to the corner. It was Ava, she was sleeping peacefully in a pile of haystack. "Oh thank god." I placed the lamp onto a table and threw the equipment onto the floor. I decided to boil some water for her since it's almost dinner time. Ava's parents runs 2 stores. Her mom owns the pub above us and her father is a blacksmith. Just like Sally and I, Ava's family shares the same hatred towards the corrupt government we are living in. They are part of an underground resistance, fighting against Big Brother. Ava and I are close friends. So close I can regard her as blood. She is only a year younger than Sally and me. Her and her parents are the closest thing Sally and I have to a family. I may also have developed some feelings for her.... A small shuffling turned my attention away from the stove.
