Chapter 3 - Who is She?

"Hey, is this guy dead? I though we told you not to kill them."

"Piss off you lowlife, you don't want to make Winter even angrier than she already is."

I slowly open my eyes. I could see a blurry orange hue to my left and the smell the scent of burning firewood. I tried to get up but soon realized that my hands were cuffed. "Ugh... what is going on?"

Suddenly, I could hear multiple guns cocking at the same time. "Looks who is awake." said a familiar voice. I turn my head to see Holly sitting by the bond fire, cleaning her sniper rifle.

"You!" I stared deeply into her soul. "You were the one who shot and drugged me."

"Ding ding ding," Holly stood up and started pacing back and forwards behind me. "My ability you asked?" She came up to me and placed a finger in my chin. "Poison," she said while licking her lips.

I tried to swing my legs but half my body was still paralyzed. "What did you do to my sister?"
I scowled.

"Oh her? What was her name again? Oh yeah, Sally! Honestly, I don't know. We haven't caught her yet." She said with a smile. "Don't worry, we won't harm her when we catch her, we have something else in mind."

"You act like you know us," I laughed. "You don't know anything about us."

Holly froze, she pulled a digital table and scrolled down until she found what she was looking for. "Aha, here it is! Nathan and Sally Le, twins whose family was killed during a government raid. During, your disappearance, multiple of armed guards have disappeared in this forest more than we could of counted. I am assuming it was you two wasn't it?"

I growled at her smug face. "What if it was us?"

Holly sighed, "You are too cute to murder, maybe I will make you into one of my henchmen."

"Fuck you," I yelled, spitting at her face. She casually wiped the spit off of her and slowly turned around. Suddenly, she quickly whipped around and a sharp pain accelerated through my body. I fell against the floor once again with blood coming out of my mouth.

"Oh, there was another group of people I forgot to mention about. What were their names again... the Yangs?" She asked with a sly smile.

My heart stopped, Ava. I gave her a grimacing look. "What are you implying here?"

The sat down on a log and began to clean her rifle again. "They have being arrested while you we asleep. If we don't find your sister by tonight, we are going to take you back to the capital for your trial. Honestly, I feel like you have too much potential to be executed, but if you do manage to get by the death sentence, we are going to watch their execution live."

Death, the permanent cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living, physical organism. Death may refer to the end of life as either an event or condition. "You mean... they are going to die?"

"God damn it Nathan," Holly said letting out a big sigh, "You ask way too many question, go to sleep because you got a big day tomorrow."

I was too shocked to say anything else. Ava is going to die in front of my eyes and I can't do anything about it. Two soldiers came up to me and held me down. A third one came up holding what it looks like to be a syringe and stabbed it into my thigh. My eyes slowly begin to fail. I could feel my body become numb again. "I am going to kill you," I could hear myself mutter one final time as my eyes finally close against its will...

"Hey! Don't let go!" Said a voice. I opened my eyes to see myself dangling off a cliff. A hand was grasping onto my hand for dear life. I look up to see Holly trying to pull me up. But this time, Holly wasn't an adult, she was a teenager.  She also wasn't wearing her uniform. I look over to see Sally wrapping her arms around Holly's waist also trying to pull me up. Sally was also a teenager.

"Nathan, come on!" Yelled Sally.

I snapped out of confusion and hoisted myself up the ledge. Sally and Holly sprawled all over the ground trying to catch a breath. What is going on? Why are we in the past and why is Holly here?

"I thought you were going to die," Holly cried breaking into tears.

"Look at what your carelessness did, you made Holly cry!" Sally said with a scowl.

"I-" I slowly gave Holly a hug. She kept on bawling in my arms. I never knew someone so heartless could be so caring. After some time passed we laid against the grass and watched the clouds.

"Hey Nathan?" Said Holly.

"Yeah?"

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

"What is with the sudden question?"

"Nothing... I was just wondering?"

"Um, I don't know yet. I honestly just wanna find a job where Sally and I can bring food to the table. What about you?"

"I wanna marry a man!"

"Huh?"

"I want to become a wife and kids. That would be so pleasant wouldn't it?" She said dreamingly. I nodded at her. "Hey Nathan, remember that promise we made as kids?" I didn't say anything. "Don't tell me
You forgot," she pouted.

"Umm... I'm sorry." I laugh uncertainly.

"God damnit Nathan," she sighed, "We promise that when we both became adults and still didn't have anyone, we would marry each other."

"Oh yeah that." I glanced at my hand to find a ring on my right ring finger. "Yeah I remember." Holly looked a bit sadden.

"Hey Nathan... you wouldn't leave me right?"

"What is with all these question today, damn" I laugh.

"Just answer it,"Holly looked as if she was on the verge of tears again.

I sighed, "I won't ever leave you."

Holly's eyes lit up. "Yay! Now all you have to do is wake up!"

"Huh?"

"Wake up"

"What?"

"Wake up"
"Wake up"
"Wake up"

"Wake up you dip shit, we are here." Said a loud voice. I open my eyes to see Holly standing over me. Fully grown and in uniform. I stare at her confused. "We are here, feast your eyes towards where your fate is to be determined. I look up to see a giant building, built out of marble and glass.

"Welcome to Judgment Day!"
