"I swear if we weren't going to class, his face would've met my fist." Cameron remarks.

I chuckle at his silly remark. All the memories I once had with Kian were still fresh in my mind. He destroyed my sanity, my heart, and my innocence all in one day.

But that's another story.

We stopped at the door of my civics class.

Cameron spoke "Well, I'll see you at lunch with the guys. Meet me by the stairs over there after class so we could walk together." He pointed towards the stairs as he spoke.

"Alright, I got you. See you then." I opened the heavy classroom door as I proceeded to walk in.

A distant voice said "Uh- where's my hug Lana?"
I turned to see Cameron waiting outside the door with a smug look on his face.

I shuffled to Cameron and gave him a satisfying bear hug.
"I didn't know we were giving hugs now, our friendship is pretty serious now." I giggle.
He laughs and says "Laters, baby."
I snicker at his cheesy fifty shades of grey quote and stroll back into the classroom.

As I walk in, I scope around the room filled with spoiled kids from Beverly Hills. One or two of them gave me dirty looks, probably because I wasn't wearing high fashion clothes like them.
I quickly shuffled towards my desk and sat down on the plastic chair. I got all my necessities for class such as my pencil and some lined paper.

"You going to Taylor's party tonight?" A familiar voice asks next to me.
I glance beside me to see Jack, Jack Gilinsky. He was so mysterious, I didn't even notice he was even sitting right next to me.

"A party? I thought we were all just going to hangout, I'm not allowed to go to any parties." I muttered.
"Who's stopping you from going to parties?" Jack seemed to show some sort of emotion.
"Uh-my mom. She-she's strict." I stuttered.

"Listen Lana, soon we won't get the chance to be reckless teenagers anymore. Your bed and TV will still be there when you're older. Enjoy being this age because the clock is running out and you're gonna have to grow up soon." Jack preached while looking down at his desk.

He said that so smoothly, like he's practiced it over and over. I would've never expected Jack, the most quietest guy I've met, say something so deep.

"Jeesh, I honestly have nothing to say to that." I responded.

"I'll pick you up after school." Jack stated, on his phone.

The bell rang and class began. The teacher stood up from her desk and announced "We have a worksheet to work on today on lesson 3.0, you may use your notes."
There was a series of back pack zippers being opened and closed.
The teacher began to hand out the papers.

"Lana." An unfamiliar voice whispers.
I jolt my head at Jack and he's on his phone, unaware of the situation.

The teachers placed the worksheet on my desk. I pick up my mechanical pencil and proceed to write my name on the top right corner of the paper.

I hear another voice, saying something over and over. Its not clear enough for me to understand.
"It's all your fault."

My heart beat fastens. What is going on with me?

"Tick tock."
"Lana"
"Tick tock, that's your time"
The series of whispers continues.

I start trembling uncontrollably. I hyperventilate, clueless of what is going on with me.
I have to get out. I have to get out this classroom.

"Lana, are you okay?" Jack looks me in the eyes.
"Are you saying those things?" My voice trembles.

"What things? What are you talking about?" Jack shows concern.
"You hear the voices too?" Jack adds.

"What? What voices? I'm not crazy, Jack."

"Tick tock, tick tock."
"Your insane, Lana.

Tears roll down my face. Where is my mind?
I quickly get up and hurry to the door. I don't even ask for a pass, I needed to leave immediately.

I walk as fast as possible through the white tiled hallways.

"Lana."
"You know what you did."

My vision blurs and I can't see anything ahead of me.
I collapse onto the cold, tiled ground.
My hands are tingling. My heart is racing. I can't breathe and I feel like I'm going to die at any moment.
"Tick tock, that's your time."
"Insane."
"Murderer."

Then everything went dark.
