It did not take Tyn long to pass out in the back of the wagon.  He had been putting on a good front, but the cuts on his body were probably worse then he wanted them to think.  Placing her blanket under his head, Yina made sure he was comfortable before climbing up in the front with Adar.

"So what is your story, really?"  She asked him giving him the side eye.  The trip to town was going to take at least half the day and she was going to milk him for any information she could.

Silence stretched for what seemed to be forever before he finally spoke.  "Honestly that is none of your business, but I am kind of on the run from Rak.  That is about all you are going to get out of me.  I do not trust you any more then you do me.  This is just a job to me after all."  Adar stated his voice sliding into neutrality.

The tension in the air was thick at this point, and honestly it was uncomfortable for Yina.  Punching him in the shoulder she laughed, "Well looks like we at least have that in common.  Running from the country we were raised in."  A small smile formed on his lips but not enough to completely fix the situation.

"I do want to thank you for saving us, mostly saving Tyn without your help he probably would have died."  Her tone had started to break up a little bit as she spoke about it.  Her mind flashing back to he fight and thinking he was going to die and it was all her fault.

Adar tied the reins up against the rail and turned to look at her.  "I was just fulfilling my job as I keep telling you.  However when I arrived I noticed you were doing just fine so I went to help him instead."  Adar looked between the two for a few moments.  "So are you two together."

Instantly Yina's face went beet red as she turned her face from Adar trying to hide the blushing.  "N n no.  We are just childhood friends, I have known him most of my life.  Not to mention he chose to come with me on this suicidal attempt to flee from Sastan."  Her face was still beet red by the time she finished.

His laughter just made it worse as a bit of electricity arced around her body as she shot him death glares.  "Well, he is a good friend.  I have healing solution that he can use when we get back.  There were not actual healers as they are hard to come by but healing solution not as hard."

Her eyes went a bit wide and a confused look covered her face.  "Healing solution?  How does that work?"

"Well a few of the retired healing binders of other nations can make healing water.  Best way to put that, and they sell it to others in need.  Due to its less instant effects and being able to mass produce it, its pretty reasonable.  Still expensive but not like actual healing potions that work immediately."  Adar explained as he watched the trees go by. His eyes constantly scanning the sky watching out for any possible threats.

She eyed him a bit, he spoke about these things like they were common sense.  Yet Yina had not heard of any of this, granted she had been pretty spoiled and if she was hurt the healer would quickly fix her up.  there was so much for her to learn about the real world.

"This solution you add to a bath and soak in it for a hour and it should fix up moderate injuries.  So the small cuts that cover his body should be easy work for it."  Adar explained since she clearly did not know what the healing solution really was.

The two rode in silence for a while after that, only the occasional snore from Tyn breaking through.  Yina would cringe any time a bird would flee from a tree as they passed.  She could not wait to be out to sea where if anything tried to ambush them they would see them for a long time before hand.

-------

Near midday Bredan started to take shape.  It was small, well small to Yina who had lived in the capital most of her life.  She had been to this town once when she was younger but her memory of that time was fuzzy.  Wooden towers were at each of the towns corners most likely used to scout out enemies.  A sea breeze slammed into her as she took a big whiff of salt.

"I did not realize I missed that smell."  Yina stated.  They were still a bit away from it though being on a hill.  Even from this vantage the buildings of the town were enough to block out the sea from sight.

Slipping back into the wagon she shook Tyn a few times.  Making sure to keep a eye on his swords.  His entire body flinched up but this time luckily he did not try to attack her.  Rubbing his head he grumbled.  "What year is it."  The poor guy was clearly out of it still, but that was to be expected.

"Quit messing around, we are here."  Shortly after they rode up on the town, no walls seemed to surround the town which Yina thought was quite odd.  "No walls?"  She asked Adar.

"To much work and upkeep, plus it is not really needed this far out.  They also use wood instead of stone as it is far easier to replace wood then stone.  The sea tends to be rough on buildings, a few still are stone of the richer families that call this place home."  Explaining this he pulled the horses down a side path as soon as they entered the city proper.

"YINA."  A voice burst into her head as she felt that familiar pull in her mind of her dragon.

A large smile crossed her face, looking over at Adar.  So he had not lied about making sure she was save and sound.  That at least helped just a bit on if she trusted the man or not.   "Hey Nyssa.  You feeling any better?"  Yina send back mentally hoping not everyone at the place she was at could here her dragons thoughts.

"Of course, Astir has been protecting me a bit to much.  I just want to play with the other dragons here but Nooo."  She stated a bit upset by not being able to play but Yina was a bit grateful for that.  No need for the group to draw anymore attention then needed.

Without realizing it, the group had stopped in front of a building.  Glancing up the name was interesting indeed Waters Scales.  A series of scales to weigh things were on the sign but made out of a dragon scale design.  "We are here."  Adar stated handing the reins to a man standing just to the side.

Sliding out of the wagon she shouldered the remaining supplies that they had and followed Adar into the building.  Tyn shortly behind having wrapped up both swords in a cloth to hide what they actually were.  Yina doubted anyone would be so dumb as to try to rob them, but most people could live their entire life with just the price of one of those swords.

Adar nodded to the innkeeper at the front as they passed.  "I already paid for our rooms and our supplies should already be restocked.  Climbing up three stories they came to a door, pulling out a key Adar unlocked it and pushed his way inside.  It was a rather large cozy room with a fire going near the back wall two windows on either side.

"I got us a suite, this common room has four rooms attached to it, cost a bit but well you guys had plenty of money after all."  He chuckled pulling out his coin purse and placing it on the table.  Pulling the seat back he sat down dumping it out and started to pull them apart duplicating each of them.

Without stopping what he was doing Adar nodded his head towards a package on the other side of the table wrapped in canvas.  "That is the healing solution, I recommend you use it as soon as possible Tyn."  With very little hesitation the young man grabbed the pack and left the room.  "I hope he doesn't get lost."  Adar stated about half way through the coin purse a few beads of sweat dripping down his face.

Rolling her eyes at him she turned in a circle looking at all four of the rooms.  "So which one is mine since you have already decided it all."  She snapped at him giving a more playful glare then he probably deserved.

"That one over there is yours.  I used some of your old clothes to determine your size so you should have a few changes of clothes in there."  Adar stopped duplicating in order to point towards a room on the left side.

With as deep and low of a curtsy as Yina could do she responded, "Thank you my knights in dirty armor."  With a quick turn she stalked away pushing herself into her room.
