If you told me a year ago that If I stayed with 𝗵𝗶𝗺 I would end up where I was now, I would of turned around and ran from 𝗵𝗶𝗺 the moment I met 𝗵𝗶𝗺.

I've tried to get away from 𝗵𝗶𝗺 but 𝗵𝗲 always finds a way back to me. I don't want to live like this anymore, the bruises I have to hide everyday, the mask I have to put on to hide my true emotions. When will 𝗵𝗲 stop? When will 𝗵𝗲 leave me alone?

I'm downstairs making myself some breakfast before I head to school when I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. As soon as I heard 𝗵𝗶𝗺 the hairs on my arms stood up and my face went pale. 𝗛𝗲 scares me. No one in this world scares me as much as 𝗵𝗲 does.

"G-good morning" I trembled.

"Where's my breakfast?" 𝗛𝗲 asked bluntly.

"It's r-right here" I shuddered.

𝗛𝗲 snatched it from me.
𝗛𝗲 put the sandwich in his mouth, chewed it for a second and spat it out.

"What the fuck is this?!" 𝗛𝗲 barked.

"I- it's- it's a sandwich babe" I responded with pure terror in my voice.

"Don't babe me! It's freezing!" 𝗛𝗲 yelled.

"I'm so sorry I-I'll Make you something else" I apologised.

𝗛𝗲 threw the plate at me.

Okay, that hurt like a bitch.

The plate fell to the floor and smashed into hundreds of pieces.

"Clean up the mess and get the fuck out of here!" 𝗛𝗲 ordered.

"I will" I said with no emotion.

𝗛𝗲 stomped out the room.

I exhaled. I must of taken in a long breath without knowing. This is just a bit of what I have to deal with every day, I'm surprised I've not gone mad. My ribs started to hurt from where the plate had hit me. I pull up my shirt to have a look at the damage.

"Fuck" I whispered.

It had already started to bruise and it hurt every time I moved.
I cleaned up the mess, walked out my house and made my way to school.

I was in so much pain, out of everywhere on my body he had to get my ribs. At least I can hide the bruise. I think 𝗵𝗲 might of broken a rib this time. My ribs were already fragile enough from where he hits me, 𝗵𝗲 always goes for my ribs because 𝗵𝗲 knows no one will see them. This plate could of been enough to finally break it.

As I got to school I had a hard time with breathing. I clutched my chest and wished that the pain would go away. I walk into my class and sat down. Every minute or so I would whimper in pain. Every time I breathed it hurt me. Please God get me through this lesson.

The bell went and i hurried outside to get some fresh air. I put my back against the wall and gripped my chest. I'm in agony I really need to get this checked out. But what would I say, I'm sure a doctor would figure out sooner or later that this isn't the first time my ribs had taken a beating. I don't know what to do. I became weak and the room started to spin, I couldn't take this pain anymore until finally I didn't feel anything at all. I passed out due to the amount of pain I was in.

I feel someone carrying me somewhere, I was to scared to open my eyes in case it was 𝗵𝗶𝗺, I don't know how long I was out for.
I hear people talking but I can't quite make out what they are saying.
I'm being placed on a bed. Oh no I can't be at a hospital. Please don't let me be at a hospital. I started panicking. I passed out again.

I wake up to a nurse hovering above me. She had a sympathetic look on her face. I look around and see a guy sat on a chair beside me, I know his face from somewhere but where? Oh my god it's Kace. Kace Hamilton. Your probably wondering who this guy is. Well he is a boy from the school I go to. Every time we speak we argue, I swear we haven't had a civil conversation in years, yes years. I've known him since I was a child, he's so full of himself.
Why is he here? Did he bring me here? Wait I passed out?
To many questions that needed answers to.

The nurse finally spoke.

"You have taken multiple beating to your ribs that have been left untreated"
"What happened?" She asked softly.

"I can't remember" I said quickly.

"We can't help you if you don't tell us what happened" she said sounding concerned.

" I don't need help, I can deal with this myself" I said bluntly.

"Okay miss. We have put ice around the bruising to relieve the pain. We haven't put a bandage on it or a belt as that would stop your ribs from moving when you breathe. You did break a rib so I advice you to take some time away from sports to allow your ribs to heal. We have prescribed you with ibuprofen to help with the pain. You also passed out due to the amount of pain you was in and your body couldn't take that pain."  She explained to me.

"Thank you doctor" I said appreciating everything she had done for me.

"I just need you to sign these papers and you will be discharged" she said.

She handed me the papers. I signed them. And she smiled and walked away.

Now time to figure out why he's here.
