Today's the day I get to live my dream. I've waited my whole life for this moment. So... I'M FINALLY GOING TO LA ARTS AAH. Going to LA Arts has been my dream ever since I was a kid. I’ve always imagined how it would feel to spend four years of my life doing what I love, and now that dream is gonna become reality. It’s crazy how- Suddenly, my thoughts are interrupteda as my phone beeps. I pick it up off the bedside table to check who’s facetiming me. It's Natalie.

She's my best friend, we've known each other since kindergarten and our families have been friends since forever. "heyy ameess" I listen to Nat waffle while I start to get ready. She's coming over to my house before we leave and we're going to the school together. She's acting super chill and 'nonchalant' (Aah don't let that word trick you into thinking I'm smart, I learnt that word from 'full house' and I use it all the time) but I know inside she's probably wayyy more excited than me. "anyays ames hurry up and get ready so we have time to take loadssss of pictures before we leave Okays, dad says we'll be at your house in an hour. Oh Yh look cute, first impressions are everything, and maybe you'll FINALLY get a boyfriend." she laughs and ends the call. I'm going downstairs to eat now, God knows my sisters probably eaten ALL the pop tarts. That's something you should know about jess, no matter what the situation, she'll do Anything possible to ruin my mood, so even if pop tarts make her sick, trust me, she'll still eat all of them. But whatever, I don't think anything can ruin my mood today, I'm way too excited.
An hour later, the doorbell rings and of course, it's Natalie. She runs in excitedly and gives me a hug. "Omg ames I'm so excited to share a dorm, this is gonna be aWe.sOme." After taking a gazillion pictures, and packing loads of snacks, we grab the last of our stuff, say goodbye, and settle into the car, ready for our first exciting year at la arts.
