Chapter 4: Fears

Myle fell to the ground, fainted. 

"Go, take back your body Liam, I don't want it anymore!" Myle thought/yelled at Liam.

Liam got back off the ground, puzzled as he didn't know why Myle seemed so frightened. Leo's hair was back in it's original form. Liam brushed himself off and made a smirk.

"Whelp, lets get back to escaping the village," Liam stated in a comical voice.

Liam and Leo sneaked around the buildings of the village, till they came to the blacksmith's shop.

"The villagers don't really like minecraftians, so be very careful,"  Leo whispered.

Liam shuddered. Was it just him, or did something make a weird noise?

"Leo, we need to go back to the savanna, and NOW," Liam whispered.

"Why? Like, we still have a few hours of light left," Leo replied.

"Fine" Liam rolled his eyes. He was getting bored, after all.

Liam and Leo crept through the back alleys of the village, always keeping an eye out for villagers. They were almost out of the village when they heard a small evil chuckle, coming from the roof of one of the buildings around them.  Leo looked around, fear surging through each of his movements, perspiration dripping from his face. They were just about to high-tail it out of the village when a young girl, probably the same age as Liam, jumped down from the building beside them.

"Whooaa," Liam said as Leo ran to the nearest shrub. Leo didn't really hide himself well, but he still tried.

Liam sized her up. The girl's long, blonde hair covered the left half of her face, she wore a white shirt with a vest over top, and blue jeans, on her belt was a sword with a black blade, probably obsidian. The girl was 3 or 4 inches taller than Liam, and maybe 5 inches taller than Leo. The gaze she gave Liam was cold, real cold. She slid her hand from behind her back, holding a grey object. She parted her hair and replaced it with the object. It was a mask, but what for? The mask covered half her face,the eye was covered by the girl's hair, and the smile. The smile. Liam shuddered. The smile was twisted into a psychotic grin. 

Liam smirked. Leo just ducked down further into the shrub.

"My name's Liam. What's yours?" Liam asked as he stuck out his arm, signaling a handshake. The girl just stood there, then took it. Her smile came to match the one on the mask.

 "Thanks," she replied, still with a devious smile.

What happened next Liam couldn't quite get. The girl twisted Liam's arm and through him into the wall, then slammed him in the stomach twice with her knee.  

"It's April," The girl said with her back turned to Liam,"My name, that is."

April turned her head and mouthed the words:"You'll understand someday," then jumped back onto the rooftops. She then turned back around and poked her head over the edge of the roof to look at Liam, who was now laying on the floor, wheezing.

"Don't let your fears get to your heart, and that applies especially for you, Leo," April said with a creepy tone that echoed through Liam's head. She then turned back around and leaped away. 

"What the heck!" Leo yelled as he crawled back out from under the shrub.

Liam got back of the ground, glared at Leo, and then grabbed his long brown hair and started pulling as hard as he could.

"WHAT THE HECK! MORE LIKE WHAT IN THE REALM OF HELL!!!" Liam screamed through clenched teeth. "DAMN IT!!!" 

"Whoa, calm down Liam," Leo reassured Liam.

 "IT'S NOT LIAM!!! IT'S MYLE!!!!! GET IT RIGHT!!!" Liam/Myle retaliated.

Leo slowly backed up, and then suddenly took off. Myle stood there, then ran off to catch Leo.

"GET BACK HERE YOU ARROGANT FOOL!!!!! He yelled at the top of his lungs.

"You're the arrogant one, Myle" Liam said inside of Myle's head.

Leo kept running. He reached a mountain and started leaping from side to side, always finding a handhold.

"DAMN IT!!! GET BACK DOWN HERE!!!" Myle screamed.

"Maybe you should get up here!" Leo replied.

"DAMN YOU!!" Myle yelled.

Leo just giggled, he knew Myle couldn't climb very well, and he knew he could outrun him in a race. Also, he just really wanted to get on Myle's nerves. Myle ran towards the mountain, then jumped. He grabbed onto a handhold and immediately started climbing. When he was about to reach Leo, his hand slipped and he tumbled down.  He quickly righted himself and grabbed onto the nearest handhold and held on for dear life. When Leo was within a few metres of Myle, Myle's head twitched and looked up at him. Those evil eyes had turned back into the determined ones of Liam's. Liam smiled, then started coughing. He looked back down towards the ground, and coughed out something.

It was blood.
