I groaned in frustration as I looked over wedding dresses.

I loved them all and it was so hard to just pick one. Oh how I wish I could pick all of them.

"Honey bun you gotta stop stressing"Angelou's mother rubbed my back.

"It's just so hard"

"Well narrow it down to the top five,then out of those five pick the one that fits you best"My mom pointed out as she handed me a sharpie.

Letting out an exaggerated breath I picked the top five choices.

"Alright I picked my top five"I dropped the strong smelling marker on the table.

I was tired and my head was hurting,who knew how hard planning a wedding is.

"Oh I like this one Lani"My mom pointed at the dress.

Angie slapped my mom's hand down "mom this is her choice she doesn't need no inputs"

"I'm just saying"my mom threw her hands up.

"I'll choose my dress later right now we should move onto the guest list"

"Alright me and Angelou set the amount of guest at five hundred two-fifty from my side and two-fifty from his"

Mama King furrowed her eyebrows together "five hundred? Baby girl this is a wedding I say set the minimum at ten hundred"

"But mama King I want people at my wedding that I actually know,also I don't need none of Angelou's exes popping up"I clicked the pen in my hand.

"Well how about you and Angelou just write down who you want to come then add it up"I bit my lip as I thought about what British said,she was right that'll make it easier.

"Alright me and Angelou can do that together"

"Do you have the colors for the wedding?"I nodded my head as I sipped my wine.

"Since were getting married on the beach we decided on the colors teal,black and white"I explained

"Oh those are beautiful colors"brit smiled

"Wait where is peaches?"I asked Brit

"He said he was on the way"

I nodded my head,peaches better bring his ass on I need his opinion on things too.

"So you have the date of the wedding which is June fourth?"

"Yes mom,what color do y'all want to wear?"I asked my mom and mama King.

"I'll wear white"My mom said

"What color is my son tie going to be?"mama King asked

"He wants to wear a teal tie"I explained

I pulled my phone out my purse to check the time and to see if anyone texted me.

4:16 P.M it read in bold print

iMessage: Major

I opened up the message

Major:where are you and Carter at?

Lani:we're at your moms,where are you?

I placed my phone on the table,standing up I walked into the living room to check on my baby.

He was knocked out inside his crib,I smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Lani Angelou texted you"Angie yelled catching my attention.

Peeping at my baby once more I walked back into the kitchen to retrieve my phone.

Major:I'm outside

Clicking the lock button I slipped my phone into my pocket and made my way outside.

Angelou stepped out of the car closing the door behind him.

"How's wedding planning going?"He grabbed my waist and gave me a quick kiss.

"It's going fine"I shrugged

I looked over Angelou's shoulder to see peaches pulling up.

"Baby peaches is here"I warned Angelou knowing how he doesn't like peaches.

He cursed under his breath and buried his head in the crock of my neck lightly sucking on it.

"Hey boo"Peaches swung his multi colored boa around his neck.

"Hey peaches"I giggled as Angelou's tongue tickled my neck.

"Is that Mr.Light skin I see,hey boo"Peaches blew Angelou a kiss making me laugh.

"Peaches leave my man alone and go in the house"I hit him with his boa.

He walked in the house Being loud as usual.

"You missed me baby?"I rubbed the back of his neck.

"No actually I came to see my son"He said nonchalant

"Boy please"Grabbing his hand we walked into the house.

"Hey mama"He kissed both of our mothers on the cheek.

"So how far did y'all get?"He took my wine out my hand and started to drink it.

"Well we've gotten my top five dresses down,we know who's in the wedding,we've got the colors and the food list,now we need guest list brides dresses and grooms men suits"I took it upon myself and sat in his lap.

"Alright,and I already got the suits for the groomsmen"I took my pen and wrote down what Angelou said.

"Alright for my bridesmaids I want a pattern with the colors,teal,black,white"

"What color do you want me to where?"Angie asked since she was my maid of honor.

"You can pick your dress and your color,also bridesmaids"I pointed at British and peaches

"- you guys get an opinion on the bridesmaids dresses"

After a couple more hours of going over some more details I finally decided to leave.

"Baby I'm so tired"I climbed into Angelou's lap

"Me too"

It was quite for awhile until I heard my baby boy crying I hurried off of Angelou's lap only to be sat back down.

"I got him,you just get some rest"I walked to the bedroom and threw my self on the bed.

Who knew Wedding Planning was so hard.
