With shaky hands, she reached out for her phone, opening her chat with seulgi.

Jennie: Seul I think I'm hallucinating

Seulgi: what why

Jennie: I think I just heard Jisoo say she was hoping she was the one I fell for

Seulgi: I'm sorry I'm shaking please tell me it is her

Jennie: I can't have heard right

Jennie: She's with joohyun

Seulgi: kinda, yeah

Seulgi: maybe she's with her because she thinks you're in love with someone else???

Seulgi: also are you in love with someone else

Jennie was wondering if she should answer to this or not when her phone showed another notification, from Sooyoung's chat.

Sooyoung: hey, I haven't seen you around today

Jennie: I didn't go...

Sooyoung: why? Are you sick?

Jennie: no, no, I'm fine. I just got lazy keke

Sooyoung: oh! Hehe I see

Sooyoung: did your roommate skip class too?

Jennie: She did, but she's not home

Sooyoung: I see.

Sooyoung: Class is starting, see you later

Jennie left the chat, without paying attention to the "See you later". She ended up not answering Seulgi, and putting her phone on silent mode. She rolled around bed for a while, and fell asleep again.

She only woke up hours later to the sound of the doorbell. Mumbling to herself asking who could it be, she got up, not minding her pajamas, and went to the door, opening it without checking whom it was.

― Hey ― Sooyoung smiled at her, seeing her surprised face. ― Were you sleeping?

― Uhm... yes, I was, actually. ― Jennie didn't know how to react to Sooyoung's presence.

― I brought you lunch. ― She held up a brown bag Jennie hadn't noticed before. ― Can I come in?

Jennie was supposed to say no, according to her rules with Jisoo. They shouldn't take girlfriends or whatever Sooyoung was to the apartment, especially when the other one wasn't even around, and without asking first.

But Jennie didn't want to be rude, so she automatically nodded, giving Sooyoung space to go in, hoping she could get rid of her before Jisoo came back, which Jennie didn't even know what time would be.

Jennie led Sooyoung to the kitchen, taking everything they'd need and placing it all on the table, so that they could eat.

They started talking, and Jennie got so distracted she even forgot Sooyoung wasn't supposed to be there. Even though Sooyoung didn't try anything with sexual innuendos, and it didn't seem like that was what she was there for, if Jisoo found out, she wouldn't see it that way.
