They went to the cafeteria together, joining the other girls for lunch. Jimin was there again, along with a friend of his. Jisoo sat beside chaeyoung, and it was the last chair at that side of the table, so Jennie had to sit beside Jimin's friend. She frowned, wondering why didn't Jisoo sit by her side, but then tried to ignore it.
He introduced his friends to the two of them right away; it was Jungkook, the boy who got scolded in the class the other day. He seemed really shy, but he connected so well with Jimin, that most times he didn't even have to say anything and Jimin would understand what he meant.
Jisoo proceeded to avoid Jennie's gaze for the entire lunch, and Jennie thought to herself that she should ask her what was going on before they head back to classes. However, as soon as lunch time was done, Jisoo grabbed Chaeyoung by the hand and went away with her, walking really fast.
― What the hell? ― Jennie cursed, by herself, frowning, feeling extremely annoyed. ― Seulgi, can I talk to you? ― She called the girl who had just gotten up to head to class.
― Yeah, sure. ― Seulgi nodded, and Jennie waited for her to say goodbye to Jimin and then Jungkook, seeing them leave together.
― Guess that's my cue ― Lalisa mumbled, getting up and leaving to class. Seulgi sat back down, by Jennie's side.
                              ― What's wrong? ― Seulgi seemed worried.
― Well, nothing's wrong, I guess... I just... ― Jennie looked away, shy. ― I think I fell for someone.
― What? ― Seulgi asked, because she almost couldn't hear what jennie said. ― Really? ― She seemed excited. ― Who is it?
― I'd rather not say it yet, I don't know how... deep it is ― She felt her face warmer, and she knew she was blushing.
― That's so cute, is it your first love? ― Seulgi giggled, and Jennie rolled her eyes.
                              ― You know it isn't.
― Right, I forgot. ― Seulgi's smile faded away as she remembered Jennie's previous boyfriend, who she dated for a few years and ended up heartbroken.
                              ― Anyways... I don't think it is mutual ― Jennie continued ― What should I do? I can't avoid them, they're a close friend.
― We going neutral, damn ― Kang made a face, she was really curious to know who it was. ― What, so it's one of our friends inner circle? Is it me?
― God, no, it's not you, Seul ― Jennie couldn't help but laugh.
― As if I'm not loveable. ― she pouted.
― You are, very much ― Jennie pinched her cheeks, making the other one smile again.
― Well, if you can't avoid them, you'll have to avoid yourself.
― What does that even mean?
― Avoid your thoughts about them, and try not to act so clingy, as it could only feed your feelings. I honestly don't know exactly, I'd just ignore it and sleep with someone else, but...
                              ― That's a great idea ― Jennie answered, smirking.
                              ― Wait, no.
                              ― Yes.
                              ― You really shouldn't yet.
― Oh, but I'm gonna. Gotta go, Seul ― She got up, and winked at her friend before leaving in a hurry.
On her way to class, her phone vibrated, so she checked it.
