3rd POV

Sujin woke up once again to her alarm clock going off, indicating that her piano lesson was starting in an hour. She did her usual morning routine which included; taking a shower, brushing her teeth and finding the perfect outfit. She was walking into the kitchen to get breakfast but remembered she was on a diet and only took an apple. She was on her way out of the door when she turned around to look back at the empty penthouse. Her parents had left early and didn't bother to say good morning or leave a note, letting her know that they had left. She sighed and went down to the private driver that what waiting for her.

The driver drove her to the building where Sujin's private lessons would take place. She thanked the driver like she usually did and walked towards the entrance of the building. Once she entered the building she was met by her piano teacher, Mr Kang. "Goodmorning Sujin" he said smiling at her while he gestured for her to follow him. She followed him. They entered the elevator and Mr Kang clicked on the button for the 23rd floor. "How has your morning been so far?" he asked sounding genuinely interested. "It has been fine" she replied in monotone tone trying not to make eye contact with him. He looked away from her, his smile slowly fading.

The sound of the elevator arriving at the 23rd floor was heard breaking the silence. Mr Kang led Sujin to the music room. The room had all sorts of different instruments. It was Sujin's favourite place. Mr Kang went over to the piano that was placed in the middle of the big spacious room. He sat down and slowly started to play the piano. The melody was so graceful and beautiful. Sujin closed her eyes so she could really listen to the beautiful melody. The melody stopped. "Your turn" Mr Kang said as he stood up from the stool and walked over to the side of the piano. Sujin walked over and sat down on the stool. She looked around the room, then down at the piano, then up at Mr Kang and then back down at the piano. She closed her eyes and started playing the piano.

The lesson lasted for about two hours. "You really have improved" he said smiling at her. "Thank you" she said looking out the big windows. Mr Kang looked at his watch "You should probably go, your driver will be here in 5 minutes" he said as he went over to the door. Sujin turned away from the window and walked towards Mr Kang and the door. "Thank you for today" she said as she bowed to him. "No need for that" he said as he put his hand on her shoulder. "Come on you better hurry, don't wanna make your driver wait now, would you?" he said smiling kindly at her. She nodded and went out the door. Mr Kang watched her walk away with an uneasy feeling in his stomach. For the rest of the day Sujin went to her usual classes. She first arrived at home by 8pm.

When she arrived home her parents where already there. That's unusual she thought as she saw her parent's car in the driveway. She walked into the house where she was met by the butler. "Your parents have been waiting for you miss" he said, Sujin had a weird gut feeling. "Why?" she asked "I guess you will find out" he said and walked towards the dining room. She followed him. When she entered the room she was met by the smell of expensive furniture. The room was big, white and with beautiful, gold decor. Her parents were already seated at each end of the table. She sat down in the middle of the table. Silence. The maids came out with various of delicious foods. Before Sujin had the chance to eat, the butler from before came with something to her. "Thank you" she said as she accepted the envelope from the butler. As she opened the letter a smile appeared on her face. It was an acceptance letter from the School of Performing Arts. "I got in!" she said excitingly. Mrs. Kim quickly looked towards Mr. Kim then back at Sujin. "Keep your voice down sweetheart" Mrs. Kim said. Mr. Kim put down his cutlery.
