COMMUNITY SERVICE 001: "You know what Benjamin your nothing but a filthy filthy dog"
The last day of school {1993}
I woke up this morning hearing the sound i've been dreading for 9 months and 20 days. Today is the last day before the summer of '93, I get up and do my usual: shower, pick out outfit, brush teeth, hang with Jaylyn, head to the cafe and go to school.
After I got my outfit wich was a navy blue skirt, a white tucked in tank-top with a white and navy blue jacket and lastly my all white air force ones.
I head down staris and out the door feeling the sun beam over my light brown skin, I walk all the way into town where it crowed cause summer starts in 7 more hours and carnival just opened. I make my way to my favorite cafe in the world 'The coffee club' its litterly the best thing that ever came into my life.
I opend the door seeing a few people here and there some sitting some standing, I make my way to the counter "the usual" I said casualy. "And that is.." the girl sounded completely clueless
"listen... Courtney i'm pretty sure you know my usual so stop playing games Im not in the mood" I read her name tag then looked into her eyes.
She still stood there looking dumer than ever "ugh two lattes, one with 2 1/2 tea spoons of whole milk one with 5 tabel spoons of almond milk, then a french vanilla swirl with ice and a vanilla cappuccion...... all warm" I walk away
'Gosh how stupid can people be' I thought to myself
BENNY
I woke as usual hearing Stephanie's loud music blasting in the room over. I get up and look at my self in the mirror that stands next to my closet door.
Another day again, 'the last day of school then you can have months to play baseball'. I walk out to see stephanie walking out her room too,
see this is a daily thing we do since we always end up having to go to the bathroom at the same time, so we race and end up fighting.
We look at eachother than imeditaly run to the bathroom in wich I got to first also wich only happenes once in a blue moon. "Ha got here first'' I laughed in her face
to wich she responed to by opeing the door and pushed me in by shoving my face, which also made me fall into the bathroom.
She laughed and walked away, got what I need to get done and soon enough I was down stairs wating on my sister since we were almost late. "Aye benny just go I trust you enough to walk to school by
your-self just go i'll get your sister bye". My mom was always worried about me when it cames to walking to school so she had me walk to school with Stephanie.
"Ok bye ma" I walk out and head all the way to school throwing my ball up and down in my mitt coverd hand. I decided to walk into town as a short cut,
as I walk past one of the most famous coffe shop 'The coffee club' I look threw the big glass window and see the most meanist selfish person alive
'Jacquline Mila Gonzalez'
, standing there my eyes burned looking at the sight of her I gusse she caught me looking cause her eyes met mine and sly smirk appeared ond her clear skin face.
She made her way out the shop an stood infront of me, "stalker much Benjamin" she was the only one who called me benjamin besides adults.
"Stalking you, nope just heading to school like a normal person cause who would want to stalk a bitch like you" I spat glaring into her eye.
She was taken back but confidence filled right back up in 0.2 seconds, "I don't know maybe every boy in the entire 8th grade, maybe the 7th grade" she
srugged her shoulders calmly. I roll my eyes "I just realized something" I said smirking "and that is" she asked steping a one step closer.
"I'm wasting my breath and my time standing here talking to you" I walked off making sure to bump our shoulders. I hear he scoff then stomp her way back into
the shop. 'One point for me' I thought shaking my head.
JACKIE ~SCHOOL~
I walk into school clearly still pissed at the sitoution that happened with Benny at 'The coffee club'. I make my way to my locker where all my- well some of my friends where at.
I pushed the drinks that sat in a grey carton into Sadie's hands - aggersivley opening my locker. "Woah whats up your ass today" Sadie asked slightly laughing,
"stupid Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez" I huff closing my locker an laying against it. "Do not talk about him like that, he is not stupid he is perfect" Amber who clearly obsessed over him, yelled.
I rolled my eyes countinuing to talk to sadie "I caught him staring at me out side the coffee shop, so I made my way to him using my 'Jackie lover' potion on him" I whined to her. "What!" she
jumped up "you litterly suduced him" Sadie choked on her Vanilla cappuccion. I nod aggering with her actions "that potion works on every guy" she sighed.
We both lay back on the locker drinking our drinks watching Benjamin and his little 'crew' walk past us. Ofcoruse as always Benjamin sends a wink to Jackie, and like always Amber
pipes up and acts like it was for her.
CLASS
As Jackie, Sadie, and Jaylyn sat in the most coldest class in the entire 8th grade. Jacquline sat there shaking and pulling at her skirt and sweater very often.
She would ocanisnally look over at Benny who was siletly laughing and teasing and she would just give him the finger. As Amber would watch the two interact as anger rose in her.
"Ok there is 10 minutes left of class, take this time to talk and hang out" Mr.Hall aunnoced to the class. Everyone quickly scatterd around the room
Amber ran to benny in about 0.1 of a second Jackie shook her head and walked over to Sadie who was sipping on her drink. ''Soo what are we doing after school" She questioned
"oou lets go to the borad walk everyones going to be there" she jumped up. Jackie shook her head thinking about all the fun she was going to have this summer.
Shortly after the bell rung everyone flew out their class screaming and yelling.
And as always for some reason Benny had bumped into Jackie, ''ugh watch where your going dick-face" she left before he could say anything back.
As they where walking Amber spoke up "Jackie I really don't like you talking about benny like that", Jackie rolled her eyes
"If you care so much go with them" "fine I will" she stomped off like 5 year old. The group walked away much happier without Amber bad energy around them.
Sooner or later we made it to the borad walk walking around and having fun they decided to go to the hot dogstand.
"Ok and I was like- ugh ow watch it" Jackie stood up after being knocked down by you know who. It seems to be Beeny was walking bacwards which lead to him knocking the
