Truth from the God of Death. (Chapter 4)

"You got to be joking a god of the dead? I never seen you around before whenever the gods have a banquet. I used to be a bodyguard for Odin, I should know. And you don't give a off  a God smell. Stop your lying (F/N)." Rossweisse yells.

"Oh, but I am not my dear Rossweisse. I may not been at any banquets, because the bore that they are. And a smell? I thought I smell good today." You sniff yourself.

"Because gods usually has a certain smell to them their aura you could say and you don't have that."

"Do you usually smell everyone to see what they are?" You laugh.

"Don't make fun of me! Tell me the truth!"

"Alright if you wish. The reason is because I been hiding myself from my old friend. So I used some magic to cover my smell. Like you said its easy to spot a god with their aura that they give off. Can't let my enemies know where I was at, but that is out if the books now."

"Who are you really then? If you say you are a God of the dead."

"I am the son of Anubis." You bow.

"Now I know you're lying. Anubis had a daughter." Rossweisse walks up to you and looks dead in your face.

"You have beautiful eyes you know that?" You smile.

"You think, I have beautiful eyes? Umm wait a minute don't be changing the subject on me like that!"

"See the history books teaches you that Anubis had a daughter, but that wasn't true at all. But you know how history books can be sometimes they extort the truth to their liking." You sat down.

"If that was the case then why haven't you ever been mentioned before?"

"Do people really care if gods had children or not? We are lucky enough to even get mention unless you're Zeus children. That thunder prick always acting like he is high and mighty."

"I suppose not. I'm sorry for asking." Rossweisse bows her head.

"Its fine you didn't offend me."

"So that Bayek who is his father?"

"The one and only  Osiris, but once his father died and my father basically took over. He hated me for the get go and wanted revenge. I guess he thought he was next in line."

"Not the first time gods try to kill each other for power and revenge. Is that why you are hiding from him (F/N)?

"Yes and no Rossweisse. Could you kill your old best friend who you known thousands of years?"

"I guess not, but he is trying to murder you though why don't you fight back?"

"Maybe I am a coward to do so or maybe I am tired of the bloodshed of Gods killings Gods. When will that be enough?"

"I think, I understand." Rossweisse sighs.

"I think its time for you to go home Rossweisse. Your friends are probably worried about you since you been gone all night."

"They probably are. I am sorry for taking up much of your time with my questions. I am thankful that you saved me back there." Rossweisse bows.

"You're welcome just don't be getting into anymore fights with Gods." You laugh.

Rossweisse nods and you watch her walk out of the room. You heard the main door of the house shut. You look outside from the window and watched her walk away. Maybe making sure no one is around in the sky or maybe you are going to miss talking to her.

-Issei house-

"Rossweisse where have you been at? We were worried to death about you " Rias cries out.

"I am sorry, I got into some trouble." Rossweisse said.

"You know you could have called us we would have kicked that Necromancer's ass with you." Xenovia laughs.

"So what happen?" Akeno comes in with a cart of tea for everyone.

" That is what I wanna know. Is our suspicions right about (F/N)? Is he really messing with the dead? Is he really a filthy necromancer?" Rias asks multiple questions at the same time.

"They weren't." Rossweisse bows her head.

"What do you mean they weren't? We were sure that our information were spot on." Rias raises an eyebrow.

"There was a third party in the mix. (F/N) just got into the mix by accident."

"A third party you say? Who are they?" Kiba spoke up

"They're the ones messing with the dead."

"Messing with the dead? That is so gross." Gasper covers his mouth.

"Are you certain Rossweisse?" Akeno hands her a cup of tea.

"I am."

"Alright then what is (F/N)? If the third party is messing with the dead what do they want with him?" Rias asks.

"Maybe for his magic or books? He definitely gave off a wizard type of smell."

"Well if they are in this town we must find out  who they are then. And what is so special about (F/N) and why do they want him."

Are we going to watch over (F/N) like we did with Issei?" Koneko asks.

"Well if they're a threat then he has be a kept an eye on." Rias says.

"I can do it." Rossweisse spoke.

"You sure about that? I wouldn't mind keeping an eye on this handsome fellow myself." Akeno licks her lips.

"Why do you want to do it Rossweisse?" Issei said.

"I was sent there to investigate. So please let me keep an eye on him and keep him safe if anything arise again." Rossweisse bows.

"Very well. Everyone else we will look into these people who are messing with the dead." Rias say down.

Rossweisse left the room and started walking the down hallway. She started talking to herself.

"Why did I lie to them about him? Maybe because, he doesn't seem like a bad guy after all he did save me. I feel so confused now." She whispers.

So you told the truth about yourself to Rossweisse who didn't believe you at first or maybe she still doesn't. 

And why did Rossweisse lie to her friends about you? You're a necromancer and has mess with the dead.
