Chapter five

6 months later:

Addison's POV:

I am seven months pregnant now. My stomach is poking out.

"It's kicking." I tell Zed.
"I still think we should soon find out the gender." Zed said.
"But babe... I want it to be a surprise." I told him.
"Baby?" Zara questioned.
"Yes! Yes, girly, a baby." I told her.

Zara was starting to say words. Every now and then she would say something, and we'd praise her when she did.

"Do you want to listen?" I asked Zara.
Her face lit up like a candle. She placed her head on my round belly. When she heard it move, she looked so impressed.
"Baby!" She exclaimed.
"That's right." Zed told her.

The door opened and in walked Eliza.
"Heyy." She picked up Zara.
"Wiza!" Zara tried to say her name.

"What are you up to?" I asked her.
"Ya know, here and there." She said. "Oh wow, when is the baby's due date?" She asked.
"The doctor said around September 5."

"Have you heard from your family?" She asked.
"Still no." I explained. "I don't really care if they do or not anyway. It was my decision not theirs or anyone else's." I continued.

Eliza stayed and chatted for an hour until she had to meet up with Bonzo for something.

"Oh, it's 8:00pm.  Zara should be in bed." I said while bringing her in her room. I put her in bed and she drifted off to sleep pretty quickly.

I lied down in my bed and Zed crawled in next to me.
"Oh hey." I said.
He lifted up my shirt.
"W-what are you doing?" I asked.
He didn't answer, but started planting gentle kisses all over my tummy.

I giggle and he looks up. He then kissed me, not as gentle but not rough either. He rubs his fingers through my white hair. I want him. Every inch of him. But it would be weird with a child inside me. I decide to keep the feeling of wanting him inside me to myself.

"You want it, don't you?" He asked.
"What? Why would you think that?"
"I can tell by the way you're looking at me." He smirked. "We can if you want."
"I don't know. It would be weird with me so big and all." I explained.
"Well... if you say so." He said.

Thanks for reading this chapter.  I just wanted to say that I'm going to skip time ahead again in my next chapter to when Addison is in labor. I want to show bits and pieces of Zara's childhood as I explained in my last chapter leading up to her teen years. If that's what you're waiting for, she will be a teen very soon so don't worry.
