Jasper coughed into their sleeve as they lied on the couch in their pajamas.
They were covered with a blue blanket and they had a box of tissues on the coffee table next to them.
"How ya feeling,jasp?" Their 'brother' jonathan asked,poking his head into the living room from the hallway.
Jasper and their 'brother'(or what they viewed him as anyway) were staying home from school because jasper was sick and their caretaker,melody didnt want them to be alone.
"Like crap" jasper said with a hoarse voice.
Jasper had been feeling ill for the past few days and it was really getting on their nerves.
"Mom said it's around this time for your medicine" he said walking back down the hallway to the kitchen to get the

The cartoons playing in the background kind of distracted jasper from the ringing in his ears from being sick.
"When do you think I'll be better jon?" Jasper said when Jonathan walked back into the room
"Hopefully soon" he replied pouring some of the buckley's on a spoon and kneeled down in front of the couch to give to jasper.
Jasper got up and drank the bitter medicine,swallowed it then stuck their tongue out "blah" they said in disgust.
Jonathan got back up and chuckled as he made his way back to the hallway.
"I'm gonna go to my room now,call if you need anything" he said
It would be another hour or 2 until their other house mates-or 'siblings' (not biological theyre all from different families) would be back.
They lived with 5 other 'kids'(some were teens and by some i mean 2)

And memphis
Cooper and ethan were in a relationship,
They'd never called eachother siblings before,
Speaking of cooper,it looked as if him and the rest of the kids were out of school early.
Jasper heard a voice from their walkie talkie that they left on,
"Hey jasper are you dead yet?" Followed by someone in the back saying "shutup coop" and the walkie talkie cutting out.
Jasper got up from their seat on the couch and walked slowly toward the door as everyone started piling in.
"Yo jasper i made this drawing for you" Cooper said taking off his jacket and his backpack.
'Hold on i have to grab it" he said unzipping his backpack and grabbing a folded piece of paper from it
"Dont flash this bad boy around" he said winking and walking through the hallway to their shared bedroom
Jasper opened it to reveal an...eggplant with a face on it?
"I tried to make him make you something nicer..but i made you something too.." ashton said also taking off his jacket and sweater and grabbing a piece of paper out of his pocket.
Jasper took it and unfolded it to reveal a picture of kermit the frog.
"This looks really good,thanks ash" jasper said smiling at him and going back to the spot on the couch.
Jonathan walked back down the stairs to where they were
"Why are you guys back so early?" He asked with his arms folded
"Cooper got detention but he also had another choice to call someone to pick him up so he called someone and we all got driven back here" ethan said walking in.
"Also ian didnt come with us cause he wanted to be with that neighbor boy' memphis said taking off his things and walking to his and ashton's shared room that was on the second floor of the manor.
"Oh ok" jon said walking back to his room
Jasper stared out the window as ashton went to sit beside them.
