💔The Test💔

It was a cold stormy night, something a person should never have to be in. But Y/N couldn't handle it anymore. The pain hurt so much, constant bullying from other kids, and the orphanage owner wasn't that much help. He would usually join in too, and if Y/N tried to stop it herself, things would get worse.

"Aiko... I am sorry. BUT I HAVE TO GO" Y/N cried.

Aiko was a strong girl, stronger than Y/N, but she can not handle the fact of Y/N, her only friend, to run away. But she knew she had to let Y/N go, or her health will get worse.

"It's okay Y/N... It's for the best. If you stay here any longer... who knows what can happen.." Aiko tried to smile, but Y/N saw the tears coming down her face.

Y/N hugs Aiko. In pure silence with it storming out, though Y/N had the smallest chance of surviving, it was the best time to leave. The rain would cover her tracks.

So they can't find her.

Y/N didn't have anything to bring with her, because she didn't have anything. So now she was ready to set off.

"Goodbye Aiko." Y/N said while opening the door.

"WAIT!!! Promise me... that we will meet again, and you can lean on me as much as I leaned on you." Aiko looked down with her hands locked in a fist."

Y/N smiles. "Of course we will meet again Aiko, we have our bracelets to remind each other of us"

"Yeah, well get going before the sun rises." Aiko sniffled as she looked up holding on to the friendship bracelet

Y/N steps outside and closes the door quietly, it was already dusk... so she ran and didn't stop till she was on this mountainside. She was tired, she ran for so long that her legs would give out any minute.

She laid her eyes on a small house, she wanted to go up to it so bad. But she didn't have the strength. She fell onto the floor breathing heavily. Her eyesight got blurry and before she blacked out she heard a voice.

"A child? What is she doing here"

In just a few hours, Y/N woke up. She felt warm, and she was on a... futon?

Y/N was confused. So she stood up and began walking around the room.

Though she heard, smelled, or saw nothing her body tensed up and she went into fight mode.

Suddenly, some old man walks in. He was wearing a goblin mask and was staring at you.

"You knew I was about to come in?" The old man asked.

Y/N relaxes a bit.

"Y...yeah. I had a gut feeling." You respond.

"Interesting." The old man said to himself keeping note.

"W..who are you?" Y/N asked.

"Urokodaki." He replied. "What is your name?"

"Oh! Ummm... my name is Y/N," Y/N responded.

You grew comfort in Urokodaki quickly, it was another gut feeling.

"You have a natural talent Y/N," Urokodaki said. "Are you willing to become a demon slayer?"

"Demon Slayer? What is that?" Y/N responds.

Urodaki explains to what a demon slayer is to Y/N. She grew fascinated with the idea.

"I have two other boys that recently started to train as well. Their families were killed by demons."

"Will I be training with them?" Y/N asked.

"Matters if you pass this test. Want to do it now?" Urokodaki responds

"Yes please!" Y/N shouted.

Sabito and Giyu saw the girl pass by with Urokodaki.

"Who is she?" Sabito asked Giyu.

"It was the girl passed out in front of the house earlier," Giyu answers. "Looking by her eyes and expression she is going to the top of the mountain for the test."

Sabito starts laughing. "I remember when I did that, it felt almost impossible to breathe. I almost feel bad for her."

Giyu doesn't reply.

It's... so hard to breathe. Y/N thought to herself.

"You have until sunrise to make it down this mountain. If you don't I will not train you." Urokodaki said before disappearing.

Y/N immediately starts going down being hit by different traps, she had cuts and bruises and she was only was making them worse. An hour before dusk, and Y/N could see it, the wooden house. She desperately runs to it and opens the door proudly.

"I'M BA--" Y/N's vision gets blurry as she tumbles down on the floor.

The test was hard and Y/N needed rest. A few hours she woke up from the feeling of someone breathing on her. Sure enough, when she wakes up. Y/N sees a boy with a scar that goes to his ear to his mouth. He had beautiful Lavender eyes and messy pink hair that was uneven.

"You're awake!!" the boy smiled. "Food is ready."

Y/N sees some salmon on a plate, then sees Urokodaki and two other boys eating.

Y/N sits down and begins eating.

"Congratulations Y/N. You start your training along with these boys in two days." Urokodaki said. "That should be enough time for you guys to talk and become Acquaintenices"

Everyone finishes their meal and are dismissed. Y/N begins cleaning her plate and was about to make it back to her room.

"Hey. Your Y/N! Right?" The pink-haired boy smiled brightly.

"Y...yes. You are?" Y/N asks

"Sabito. My name is Sabito" He shook Y/N's hand.

Sabito... gotta remember it.
