Chap. 5

   "We need to talk." He says and the way he spook sounded serious. Too serious; It made me wanna shiver.

"Lu-"

"Alexis!" Harper whispers loudly, making me turn to me. "Who's the hot guy?"

"Why are you whispering?" I ask and she squints at me.

"I'm not. I'm talking properly." She whispers and I roll my eyes.

"I said whispering, not if you were talking properly or not-"

"Hi!" Harper stands up. "I'm Harper." She smirks.

"She's drunk." I tell Lucas and he nods.

"You know each other?" Harper asks and I shrug.

"Wait- do you have a boyfriend I don't know about!? Of course you did! It's your birthday and everyone hated being single on their birthday." She shakes me and I slap her hands off of me.

"Piss off, Harp." I point to the booth. "Sit."

"Aw." She pouts but obeys. I turn to the guy.

"What?" I ask him.

"Can you come to my house tomorrow? At seven." He asks. What the heck? Did he think I was gonna do stuff with him?

"Not like that!" He quickly says. "I'm talking about yesterday."

"I don't know, I'm not all okay with being kidnapped willingly.." I say. "Why?"

"I need your help. Your the only one I have a bit of trust in."

"You trust me? You don't even know me." I point out and he nods.

"I don't know you but that's okay. If you try to back stab me, I'll just kill you-"

"Was that a threat?" I push my finger against his chest, trying to stand a bit in my tip toes to be more threatening.

"Nope." He grabs my finger off him. "A warning." He turns around and walks to the door, opening it, "oh, and don't be late."

And with that he was gone. I turned to Harper to lie- I mean explain that I definitely didn't know this guy but she was fast asleep.

"Betty! I need help carrying Harper to the car again." I shout, referring to how she forced Antonio to help me last time we came here after Harper got drunk.

Betty rolls her eyes. "Antonio! Help Alex!" She shouts into the kitchen. Antonio was one of their desert cooks.

Well this has been a great 18th birthday. *being sarcastic of course*.
