Annalise smiled as she saw her dad. "I'll see you after school daddy." She said kissing his cheek. He nodded and left as she ran up to her room to finish getting ready. Annalise hopes that Emmett will be there at school. She actually enjoyed his company.
Annalise smiled as she got in her truck and started it up. Annalise hopes that Bella gets her answers. When she arrived, the Cullens did too. She laughed when she saw Emmett jumping out of the back. Annalise got out and made her way to Bella just to be stopped. "Annalise!" She turned to see Emmett jogging to her.
"Hey!" She said as he caught up with her. Emmett draped his arms over her shoulder as they walk. "How can I help you?"
"I'm walking you to class."
"Okay." ~~~ Emmett and Annalise had gotten close over the week. The weekend came and Emmett decided to take Annalise on a date. Annalise was working on her car when Emmett arrived and was shocked. "Annalise?" She looked up to see Emmett.
"Hey." She replied as she poked her head around the car. "What brings you by?"
"Well I was going to ask you out, but seems like something is wrong with your car." Emmett said. "Need help?"
"Sure and this can be our date." Annalise replied making Emmett smile.
"What do you think is wrong?" Emmett asked.
"To be honest, everything looks fine." Annalise said. "I just don't know why it quits every time I turn it on."
"How's the battery?" Annalise looked up.
"I haven't got to that yet." Annalise said as she put jumping cables on to charge it up. She looked at the size and noticed they year. "I think I need a new one."
"Why?"
"I'd had this battery for a long time." Emmett walked over and saw the year on the battery and sighed.
"I'll call in for the battery."
"I'm going to check the brakes too." She responded. ~~~ The weekend went by fast as Emmett and Annalise worked on her car. Annalise and Emmett started dating the day he came over. Emmett was glad to have his mate by his side. The two arrived at school together, getting everyone's attention. "I'm going to see Bella right quick."
"Okay." Annalise walked to Bella and started talking. Annalise laughed as Bella told her about Renee wanting to come and see her since she hasn't called.
"Wow. My mother doesn't really care as you can see." Annalise pointed out. Bella smiled sadly.the bell rang causing Annalise to sigh. "See you later."
"See ya." ~~~ At the end she saw people surrounding Bella's truck and Tyler's van. She ran over to see what had happened. "Bella?"
"I'm fine." Bella replied as Annalise got to her.
"What happened?"
"Tyler's van hit black ice, but there's something I need to tell you later." Anna nodded and ran to Emmett after Bella got in the ambulance. Emmett hugged Annalise thanking god that she was at her locker when all this had happened.
"Can you take me home?"
"Of course babe." He said. "Is Bella okay."
"Yeah, but she said she had to tell me something later tonight." Annalise said. Emmett looked at her scared, but something tells him that Annalise would learn the truth one way or another.
