Prologue New Girl

The halls of Fodlan High went silent as the student council president made her way down the halls as everyone stepped aside.
"And what is going on here?" The white haired girl asked before her eyes fell upon the blue/greenish haired girl? Woman? In front of her the girl's eyes looked back into hers. 'She can't be a student can she? That slender figure the age in her eyes how? How is she a student!? And... Who is she?"
"Can I ask you you're name new girl?"
"My name is Byleth Eisner... Yes that's what I'll go with." She answered before whispering the last part to the point where the only one who heard it was the president. 'What I'll go with? What's that mean?'
"How about you?" She asked as the president was caught off guard.
"New girl... Byleth was it? My name is Edelgard, but to you I am the student council president and I demand your respect." To her shock Byleth in her dark sweats dropped to her knees and bowed.
"Will this sufffice... El?" El blushed immediately. 'Bowing? How does she know my nickname?!'
"G... Get up you don't bow like a servant or rumors will start. Now I'll see you later new girl." El finished turning around and leaving before anyone saw her blushed face as Byleth got up wiping her sweats off.
"Wow I've never seen anyone do that before... Byleth was it? Nice to meet you I'm Claude Riegan please the pleasure is all mine." A dark skinned man said kissing her hand.
"Charming I'm sure Claude... It was instinct. I figured I could throw her off her high horse for a couple seconds." Byleth answered avoiding his gaze.
"Shh! If she hears you you'll never hear the end of the Flame Emperor's Wrath!"
"Flame Emperor's Wrath?..."
"Hey are you ok?" He asked while Byleth felt dizzy. 'Hey Teach you coming?'
"... Ah yes. I think I'll go to the nurse's office... Just to be safe. Could you help me get there?" She asked as he smiled.
"Sure thing Byleth consider me yours."
As they walked they ran into one other person.
"Oh pardon me... Ah you must be Byleth I heard about you're encounter with the president. You're famous already. Oh my apologizes I haven't introduced myself I'm..."
"Dimitri... I should've known you'd be here too..." She cut in weakly.
"Wow hey don't pass out on me! Dimitri give me hand here!"
"Ah yes right away!" He quickly answered dazed by her words as he quickly went to her open side and lifted up underneath her arm as the two carried her to the nurse's office.
"... Hey how'd she know you're name? You acted shocked."
"To tell the truth I'm not sure. It was a mystery how she knows my name. Did she do that to you as well?"
"Hmm not really, but she called the Prez El and seemed to know the words Flame Emperor... Oh and after I said my name she acted dazed. That's when this started." Dimitri nodded as he slowly took everything into account as they arrived.
"Ms. Manuela you here!? We need you out here it's an emergency!" Dimitri called as they opened the infirmary doors.
"Ah she must be drunk again. What good's a drunk nurse. I mean no one gets saved or help."
"Claude!" Dimitri snapped as they laid her down on the bed gently. "But I do admit you're not wrong she's never in here." Dimitri sighed as they began to leave before looking back as Byleth looked like she was having a sudden a nightmare.
"... Please don't leave me alone... Please... I don't want you to leave me... Again..." They looked at each other.
"Now a nightmare?"
"Huh our new student sure is a mystery eh Fighting Boar?"
"Sshh! She doesn't need to here that title yet!" Dimitri looked away from Claude back to her. "Who do you think it is parents, friends, or...?"
"I'd have to say loved one." Claude answered pointing to a thing on her hand as Dimitri gasped.
"Is that a ring!?" He looked closer at the silver ring mesmerized by the purple symbol when he began to see a diamond like shape.
"That's not all there appears to be a green one on her ring finger." Claude said as Dimitri noticed it now too. Unconscious Byleth was covering it with her hand before starting to let tears out as the two ran over.
"Shit what do we do?" Claude asked beginning to panic as Dimitri frowned looking at Byleth and the green ring.
"I've got an idea." Dimitri said as he held her hand and before the unconscious girl could do anything he spoke. "Shh. I'm here now and I'll never leave you again." And to their amazement she smiled.
"Thank you... Dimitri... My beloved..." Byleth whispered before drifting off peacefully.
"I'm glad that worked." Dimitri answered letting her hand go.
"How'd you know that'd work?" Claude asked. Dimitri pointed out the doors and after they closed the door behind them and stood alone in the empty hallway Dimitri sighed then began his answer.
"I didn't. But with how these reactions are I have a theory. Claude do you pay attention in history?"

Hiya everyone. I finally got to put my first few ideas down on "paper" so I'm glad it appears to be a good start. I haven't forgotten about the Darkened Star but I wanted to take things into a bit of a modern style and those ideas got further pushed thanks to a random comic I'll probably add in closer to the time. But I also wanted to do something on my birthday and we'll here we are!! I'm hoping to let this run for a good while (While updating it) so I hope you all like it! Until next time!
