"Hey Eri!" Kota shouted. The white haired girl twirled to face her classmate. He held to tickets for a carnival. She was surprised but not that surprised at the same time. At the moment they were meeting to go out on a surprise 'date'. That surprise turned into a night at a carnival.

To be honest, she had a small opinion on carnivals. She liked Candy apples but that's it. She hated Rollercoaster and Ferris Wheels because of the height. She disliked haunted houses because she already went through enough horror as a child. Then there was a carousel. She was fine with those. She was fine with those rides that went really fast in a circle, she loved those little swing rides because she knew she wouldn't die if she hit the ground.

She put on a fake smile as they walked into the Amusement park.

The Ferris Wheel seemed less scary at night because of the pretty lights. She might even like it?

"You're looking at the Ferris Wheel a lot. Do you want to go on?" He asked. "It doesn't have a long line." Eri just shrugged. She was nervous about being stuck so high in the air with Kouta for about five minutes.

They stood in line for about six minutes while Kouta showed her funny videos. Watching whatever he showed made her feel better about going on the ride.

Eventually they had to get on and were buckled into the small cart. Eri was already sweating bullets when she got on, Kouta was more excited.

"Are you ok?" Kouta asked. Eri smiled and nodded. They were already close to the top. "You don't have to lie." He said.

"I don't like heights!" She blurted out. She looked over the edge and covered her eyes.

"We didn't have to come on this ride if you were really that scared." Kouta said. Eri shook her head.

"You bought tickets and you looked like you wanted to go on! I didn't want to hurt your feelings!" She huffed.

"You looked like you wanted to go on. I thought you wanted to come up here. Sorry." He sighed. He didn't mean to scare her.

"I need a hug." She said. He laughed and held his arms out for her to fall into. The cart started swinging when the wheel stopped for more people to get on.

"Just look at the stars while we're up here." He said, trying to get her to calm down. She shook her head, not wanting to look up. She was smothering his face into his shirt to distract herself.

"Hey look up." He said with a laugh. When she did he used his quirk on her face. She laughed and stuck her tongue out.

When they finally got back down, Eri smiled.

"Hey, Kouta?"

"Yeah Eri?"

There was an awkward silence for a second. She opened her mouth and giggled a bit. She kissed his cheek and finally said what she wanted to say.

"Thanks."

(Yeah it's short because I gave up.)
