The Cinema

Ch. 4

After dinner is over, I say my goodbyes but purposely skip Linsey and Ashton. I can't stand to look at her, and I don't feel like getting emotional on Ashton.

"Ready to go?" Kendal asks as I gather the rest of my things.

"Yeah, do you think we could stop by a walgreens or something on the way home? I need a few things." I ask

"Yeah sure" She replys

We get into her car and watch a group of fangirls crowd around us trying to get to Ashton. When they clear out, we finally begin to drive.

My phone buzzes and I see a text from Ashton, 'Didn't see you leave. Call me later.'

Great. I didn't actually think he would care, it looked like he was too caught up in Linsey. I send him back 'okay' and walk into walgreens. I need some I-B profen because my headache is killing me.

When we get back to the room, I immediatly flop down on the couch. Ashton is absolutely head over heels for Linsey but little does he know that Linsey is a lying little bitch. I have to tell him, I just don't know when or how.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Kendal asks and sits next to me.

"Yeah sure, what movie?" I ask

"I don't know. Something with James Franco in it." she smirks and shoves a handful of popcorn in her mouth.

"Good choice" I laugh. My phone buzzes and it's Ashton,

Hey Marley is it okay if I come over for like 20 minutes?  Luke is pissing me off.

I laugh and reply

Haha sure! I wont piss you off ;)

After I press send, I realize how dumb I sound. Wow nice Marley.

About 20 minutes into the movie, theres a knock at the door.

"It's Ashton, I'll get it." I tell Kendal and get up to open the door.

"Hey Marley thanks for letting me come over." He says with a smile.

"Yeah no problem!" I invite him inside and he walks over to the window.

"Hey Mar can I talk to you out on the balcony?" He asks and my heart nearly stops beating. Stop Marley, he's just asking you to go out on the balcony with him.

"Yeah sure!" I say and walk outside with him. We sit on the bench overlooking the city. If we were dating I would probably kiss him but fate has other plans.

"Sorry to ruin your movie date." He jokes and I laugh.

"Oh it's fine, I've seen that movie like 10 times." I joke and he laughs. wow I'm not even funny but he still laughs. He's such a gentleman but a little kid at the same time.

"Well I've been thinking a lot about love, and I just wanted your opinion on me proposing to Linsey?" My jaw nearly drops off the balcony into the flaming pits of hell.

"Y - yeah, I mean if you really love someone then you should make it last forever." I think im going to puke.

"We really love each other and I honestly don't want to lose her. I can't picture myself with anyone else." He says and I can literally hear the passion in his voice. I have to say something.

"Well I mean there is possibly a small chance that she's not in this relationship for the right reasons.." I look away and immediatly regret what I just said. He looks at me concerned.

"What do you mean?" He looks straight into my eyes

"Well I just have this feeling in my gut that its kind of like the case between Louis and Harry from One Direction. Last year at the Take Me Home tour they came out and announced that Eleanor was 'dating' Louis just as a cover up. Their managment was literally paying her to act as Louis' girlfriend." I shut my mouth so nothing else comes out

"No, Linsey would never do that to me. Plus the guys would tell me." He shakes his head

"Yeah Linseys really nice. She would never do that." I lie and can literally feel the lump in my throat.

"She's great, but do you mind if I stay here and watch the rest of the movie with you?" He asks

"Of course yeah" I stand up and he does aswell,

He lightly grabs my arm, "Maybe sometime I should take you to the Cinema somewhere on tour and we can see a movie we both really like."

"Definitley," I say and he leads me inside.
