"Fine with me!" you screamed before the door slammed shut.
Ugh I'm not gonna miss fighting with him, you thought as you let out a breath of relief. He's been so impossible lately and you couldn't believe you've dealt with it for the past two years. Conor had been a really nice guy and you thought the two of you were going to spend the rest of your lives together. He was so much like you, grounded, hardworking and passionate.  But there was a certain seriousness about him that was unavoidable and could be really frustrating, which led you to the fight you had today.
You were talking about switching jobs and doing something you really loved which was play music and maybe write some music. You had been working at a typical 9 to 5 office job and you were tired of not loving going to work everyday. You were 25 and you wanted something more in your life. Conor, of course, didn't understand how you could just quit a job and do something that could possibly be a total bust. He was furious. So you fought about supporting each other's dreams and how you were gonna make money and how you were going to find a job.
None of that mattered to you, all you wanted was to try and that's exactly what you were going to do.
You decided you didn't want to be alone tonight and you wanted to party. So you texted your best friend Emma.

                               What are you doing tonight??
...
Nothing! What are we doing?!

                                                         I need alcohol.

I know a place. 😜

Perfect, pick me up at 8?

Deal
Probably closer to 8:15 if we're being realistic.

Truuuue.

Oh Emma, she was always down for anything and she's so bubbly it's impossible not to love her and have a good time around her.
