Chapter Three: Talk about Bullshit

It was around 6'o clock when I finally woke up. Devin was next to me knocked out still I chuckled to myself as I threw the cover off of me and stepped into my pink house shoes
I was only wearing his white T-shirt that was like a dress on me I decided to turn on some soft music and cook my husband some dinner for this lovely gift he has given me

I didn't want to wake him so I was careful with the clanging of the pots and pans. My mother has taught me how to through down in the kitchen and Dev always loved my cooking even when his boys would come over they couldn't resist either.

The smell of fried chicken, sweet potatoes, macaroni, and rice started to fill the air everything was practically done so I sat on the kitchen island scrolling through my Instagram. I posted cute picture of myself before I heard foot steps coming down the stairs

"Baby!"

"Im in the kitchen babe" I yelled back at him
He called himself swaggering in he only wore a pair of basketball shorts, his gold chain, and some socks. he stood between my legs and placed his hands on my back and pecked my lips
"You cooked? It smell hella good girl" he said I laughed
"Yeah I did cook now move so I can fix your plate before everything gets cold" I said hopping down so now I stood face to face with him well not really considering that he's 6'6 and I'm only 5'8

I fixed his plate and also mine and walked over to the dinner table.we both began eating until he broke the silence with the ringing of his cellphone
He knows I hate cellphones at the table but by the way he stood up and ran up stairs it must have been important he yelled after me "baby"

"Yeah" I said confused and slightly irritated because I just cooked for him and not even five minutes of eating he had to go

"That was Money they need me at the trap it's urgent"

"I figured" I said blowing my breathe I lost my appetite now he ran back downstairs fully dressed before he left to leave he bend down to give me a kiss but I turned my head, and rose from my seat then started to empty our plates

"True I'm.." I cut him

"Go it's urgent"
Silence filled the room but later I heard the front door shut

I didn't want to argue at all and I would have called Jenay over but I didn't have the address of our new house so I was stuck here alone for yet another night I knew he wouldn't get home until late so I went to sleep alone again

Morning came early as the sun crept through my windows. I looked over to see my husband not there I said to myself talk about bullshit once I thought everything was fine this nigga doesn't even come home! Im not gone sweat it though.

I jumped into the shower taking my time and by then I heard someone in the room. Just to make sure it wasn't anyone else I got out, grabbed the towel and wrapped it around me it was Devin who laid on the bed but he was sound asleep he was out all night my poor baby must have been tired
I snapped out my thoughts and quickly remember him leaving me two nights in a row so I guess it's my turn I quietly got dressed so I didn't wake him

I snook down stairs grabbed the keys off the table and jumped in the car

I'll admit I had no idea where I was going but I remember my surroundings so I'll know my way back home.
