"I'm sure you will be most pleased with our progress on the newest asset Mr. Mills."

The doctor glanced over his shoulder at the man following close behind, seeing the unamused expression on his superior's face. He frowned slightly.

"It's abilities far exceed anything we could've hoped for." He spoke calmly, trying to earn some sort of praise out of the man who now deemed himself to be the overlord of the entire operation. Everything about him reeked power, his aura alone was enough to make someone uncomfortable and squirm on the spot under his sharp gaze. His appearance was one of dignified wealth, having worn a dark navy suit pressed perfectly with sharp creases, and a bright white button-down shirt underneath tucked into his pants. A silver watch that looked rather heavy dangled loosely around his wrist, only adding to the idea that the man had a lot of money in his pockets. His hair was parted neatly to the side, being gelled into place, cheeks bare of any smile and the fact that his face lacked any emotion other than distaste, all set the scientist on edge. Dr. Wu was used to dealing with entitled men with lots of money, but Eli Mills took it to a whole nother level, one that Wu had little to no experience with.

"So I've been told. Let's just hurry this up Doctor, I have important things to deal with." Mills spoke harshly, immediately causing Wu to jump slightly and face forward as they walked down the dark, concrete hallway. Ahead of them, laid a heavy metal door at least 6 inches thick with a small number keypad just off to the side. It was one of the most secure rooms in the facility, housing Dr. Wu's newest and most important asset, and he wasn't willing to take the chance of everything going any way except perfectly, and so only he had the number that unlocked the heavy door. An enormous amount of money was put into the facility so it would be uncrackable, so Wu kept his most valuable possessions within the room, including the young asset, CR-87.

The scientist was beyond impressed with his own work on CR-87. The creature was made just like any other species at Jurassic World, using preserved DNA with a few substitutes to create a living being. This particular DNA reserve, however, was so old that there was only enough viable DNA left to make one complete genetic sequence, one living dinosaur. So as of that moment in time, CR-87 was the only living specimen of its species, and would probably be the only one to ever live in the 21st Century.

Dr. Wu and Eli Mills reached the end of the hallway, the scientist reaching forward and entering the pin to open the heavy door. There was a moment of silence before the light above the keypad turned green and a loud buzz sounded, the door beginning to move slowly, the metal gears grinding as the door opened to reveal the bright lab behind it.

The room was immaculate, having no dust, any specs of dirt on the floor or smudges on the windows that overlooked the rest of the facility. It was in nearly perfect condition, every table being scrubbed until it shined and the floor polished to the point where it was nearly reflective, and the lights being a cold white, illuminating the white interior to look even more blinding. Along the back wall of the room, directly across from the door sat a heavy metal cage, another number pad holding the lock closed. Dr. Wu stepped into the room and stepped aside so Eli Mills could get a good look at the creature sitting within the cage. He stepped forward, his eyes going wide at the small creature, slightly bigger than a housecat, as it laid off to the side and chewed furiously at one of the crossbars of the cage.

Its body was small but still muscular and coloured to be a dark forest green, with bright yellow on its thick muzzle and striped down the underside of its neck. Two small bumps were emerging above either eye, and small ridges were growing all down it's back, soon to become flashy crests and small spikes down its spine. It looked like any other large carnivorous dinosaur, except this one had longer, more muscular arms with three fingers on each that had relatively large claws for a baby. As well, its teeth were much different than that of a t-rex, being much skinnier, longer, and curved with serrations going down each side, while the rex's were much broader. It's legs stuck out like a sore thumb however, they were much longer in relation to other dinosaurs, having thick muscular thighs obviously built for sprinting.
