A Bloody Romance

Chapter 3- The Note

My eyes jolted open. I froze. It took me a while to get myself together and get up out of bed.
As I got up I noticed a small-ish rock sitting on the floor with something attached to it, it never even crossed my mind to see what it was.
I was shaking as I walked over to the window. It was dark outside suggesting that I'd been sleeping longer than I had thought.
When I saw the window for myself I was confused, it was completely fine not a scratch, so just tell me how the hell I got woken up by my window smashing and a rock being by my bed.
There's nothing that could've explained it well not until I met him, but that doesn't matter right now.
I thought for what seemed like hours, but was probably only a minute or so and I couldn't think of anything. It was making me go crazy.
After a few minutes I picked up the rock and put it on my dresser next to my bed then decided to try and get some more sleep. It took me a while to drift off but I was able to fall asleep no problem, but still I thought about how and why that had happened.

The next morning I woke up and looked at the window again, there was definitely no smash or even a scratch. I shook my head and went downstairs. No one was home, Justin and Aunt Tiff must've left for the airport already, I can't believe they didn't say goodbye. Then I saw the message on my phone "sorry we didn't say goodbye, we had to get an earlier flight, your Uncle Mick has gone and broke his ankle. Hopefully you can come and see us soon
Aunt Tiff x"

A while later I went back in my room and picked up the rock, maybe I should look at what's attached to it.
I untied the piece of string that was around it and released the note.
It was a couple of minutes before I realised I was just standing there and I was shaking. I took a deep breath, opened the note and read it "I Love You"
