The weekend was finally here after a long, stressful, few weeks. Jungkook's... gotten better, but worse at the same time. He still cuts, but only late at night in the bathroom. He still gets beaten almost every day at school, having to come back to Taehyung with more excuses.
Usually, Jungkook and Taehyung wouldn't really do much of anything over the weekends besides hang out and talk. But tonight was different. Taehyung wanted to bring Jungkook to a small house party, where his other friends were.
"Um... I dunno..." Jungkook was hesitant on going, especially if he didn't know if he knew anyone but Taehyung there.
"You don't have to, but I just didn't wanna leave you alone in the house to do nothing..." Taehyung murmured with a small pout. Jungkook stayed silent, fidgeting with the hems of his sleeves.
"... I... guess I'll go..." he whispered. "I'll probably... stay with you most of the time though. I don't wanna be annoying..."
"You won't be. If you're a lost puppy, I'll make sure you'll be a happy puppy who's having fun, okay?" Taehyung giggled, wrapping his arms around Jungkook.
"I-I guess.. heh..." Jungkook smiled a bit, hugging Taehyung back.
"Cute." Taehyung giggled. "We'll probably be there a few hours, then go home."
"Alright..." Jungkook whispered, closing his eyes for a bit.
"Let's get ready, hm? Oh! That reminds me!" Taehyung pulled away from Jungkook and rushed to his closet, moving clothes out of the way and trying to find what he needed to get. He pulled out a white blouse with floral design on it. "Here. The black jeans you have would fit perfectly with this."
Jungkook hesitantly took the shirt when it was given to him, biting his lip. "Um... You sure...?" he whispered.
"Of course, otherwise, I wouldn't have handed it to you, silly!" Taehyung giggled, ruffling Jungkook's hair. Jungkook almost flinched when Taehyung ruffled his hair, but didn't. "I think you'll look really good in it."
"Eh... We'll see." Jungkook murmured. "I'll go... change..." He made his way into the bathroom, not before grabbing his black jeans. He closed the door and slid his clothes off of his body, glaring down at the cuts on his arms. He hoped they wouldn't be visible through the white shirt. He placed the shirt around his body, thankful that they were able to cover up the cuts and bruises on him. He sighed and buttoned the shirt up. After, he slipped on his pants and tucked his shirt in. He supposed the outfit didn't look bad, but that didn't mean he looked good in it. Jungkook knew Taehyung would rock it a whole lot better than him. At least he thought so.
Jungkook took the chance to brush his teeth in there and fix his hair, then leave the bathroom. He sighed softly, seeing Taehyung struggle to choose between two different shirts to wear. One was a silky red one, and the other was another one of his floral, white shirts. Except it was colorful. He seemed to have changed into different pants already too.
